You could add a discount to encourage people to buy gold...

Right now, the 12.000 charity package is more expensive than the regular one ($49.99 vs. $49.95: it's insignificant, but it's not a discount for sure).
Only the 3.000 charity package is cheaper... and it's only $0.06 dollars cheaper... is this intended?

As for the 20%, I think it's ok.


-Edit: Maybe the discounts are already applied? But if so, there is a difference between what we see in the "Get Gold" page and the announcement.

Still $9.99 more than they'd get otherwise.  And, 20% of all proceeds during this sale could very well add up to tens of thousand dollars.  During last year's charity drive, in just one day, this community raised $27,535.  I hope we do better this year.  It's a great cause.

You can use your credit card to buy the gift packages for yourself; unfortunately, at this time, you don't have that option when you're buying for others  .

Great. I would donate for the $49.99 amount, but can't. Need that money. If the charity drive ran through the Golden Joystick event though, I think that a lot of money could have been raised

I realize with this special you are doing it for the sake of the date, but what about on a regular basis? Even the EU server gets a Gold and Credits package ...
