WG, You need to do something about the grind for the churchill. It is ridiculous that you can be completely screwed over when you get to the churchill because you decided on the Matilda path rather then the valentine path.

I don't think I have seen a tank that you had to grind thru so many guns, that are barely able to penetrate equal tier targets sides (sometimes not even able to) Just because you picked one path rather then the other.

Give some of these guns to the matilda or something, cause grinding these guns on the churchill is stupidly retarded.

wow I see what you mean.  I'm at the matilda, think I'll switch to Valentine side since it does not take long.

Anyone who decided to go down the matilda path is completely screwed when they get to the churchill.

All 3 Churchill's are a pain in the rear to grind, they're awful...

I wish they would stop making lower tier tanks garbage...

Yeah grind is tough, definetly go down both lines.

To bad they wont enable the 2 gun set up for head on shots....  

Glad I had all that free xp to by-pass the Matilda. Played the prem one and didn't like it at all.

I have the premium Churchill and for some reason, I ended up in a majority of Tier 6 games.  I know that is within the tier limits for the tank, but with zero mobility, it makes it VERY difficult to get around to the side or rear of the tier 6 vehicles.  I imagine the gun selection of the non-premium Churchill tanks helps to alleviate this issue, albeit, at the expense of seeing Tier 7 battles.

Fortunately for me I had the free XP to bypass most of the crappier guns. I do hate the tree setup, though - that's a buttload of guns to grind through, and since they're all in a line you're forced to unlock a bunch that you have no intention of even using.

The valentine sucks too, don't fool yourself.

I'd rather have the tier 3 T-46 than the tier 4 Valentine any day of the week. Someone really tried to 1up the horriblness of the early French lines, i originally didnt think it could be done.

there's only one gun I didn't research on the Valentine, and looking at Church 1 THAT I JUST BOUGHT THANKS, ionly stock gun was available...

so please tell me how the hell Valentine helped at all?!

Matilda went on really fast for me. So was the Churchill I. No pain if you ever played the premium Churchill. All good tanks, no even close to resemble the pain of the early french line. Especially the A13 tanks, they are really good with the autoloading gun and premium ammo.

People are going to think I am crazy but my first two matches I played the Churchill I with the 75 mm Vickers HV I could not stand it 2nd match had a Churchill premium eat my lunch by tracking me and then driving right by me while machine gunning me to death with the 6 pdr. I got four shots in to him but he killed me.

I like my premium Churchill so I put the 6 pdr (L/50) on the Churchill I and played it like my Churchill premium, so far I have won the last six games while enjoying it more.

I know pen is king but...
