Does anybody know where the new American tanks will fall in the tree?

More importantly, are those just "additions" or is any of the American tanks getting "bumped up" to make room for the new ones, and will any such bump provide a free tank/slot?

There's an announcement on the main page and the American tech tree has been updated.

But to make life easier on you, two lights, two mediums and one heavy.  The line branches off the M7.

well i know there is multiple threads about this but, i'll answer anyway it will be its own tree starting from the m7 medium tank

You will get a free slot with the Chinese tier 1 , No slot for US Tree, purely adding no replacing.

This makes me do happy.  I have always kept my m7 cause I just felt like something was gonna happen with that tank not because I liked it.  I have a 200% crew on it too. Unchecked the crew do box 2 day gettin all set

I heard somewhere on the EU forum that WG will not give out free slots to go with releases of new tech trees, but I'm not sure if this is really true or not.

Well, yes and no

On November 1st, they said no more free slots for new nations, but on November 7th they specifically said you'd get one for the Chinese tree

Got a free slot for the new british line. You don't really get a free slot unless they are tossing a tier 1 tank into your garage or they are moving a tank up a tier for balancing.


If they decide to stop doing that, we should get more garage slots say 12 vs 6. I'd take garage slots for credits over gold ammo for credits any day personally.
