Yep, an event that the WOT didn't even have to give us is complained about. Wargaming could give everyone a hundred dollars for the sake of it and you'd still find a way to complain.

Liking the events and weekends lately, GJ WG.

Sorry, fanboy, they give us these specials for marketing reasons, not out of the kindness of their hearts.

I know I have a problem with the gift shop change because it was unannounced and effected a major event in my clan, but events are cool.  I can't fathom why anyone would dislike them.

I'm aware. The goal of a business is to make money. Still doesn't matter. We get events, WOT profits and we benefit from the events to an extent.

dude acts like we should hate on WG just because it's good for us and them.  Guess he will only be happy if things are good for just us.  Haters gonna hate.

You couldn't be further off base, but I'm enjoying you flailing around trying to discern my intentions.

Do go on.

5x first victory two weeks in a row is "lackluster"? Considering we're generally only allowed to do it once a quarter I really wish negative rep was still around.  :Smile-hiding:

Ooooh, I'm curious. Could you tell us be so kind and tell us about some of the restrictions the guys in Minsk place on you in that regard?
Please?

Why were British Tanks excluded from the list of tanks who are getting 100% income? WG missing the opportunity for players to free xp thru and buy a "new" tank to play.

Well, I don't want to make it seem like an "us versus them" situation. The Game Design team's request is to limit the use of 5x events because of how much it affects progression--especially for folks who have a lot of tanks and play all of them for the 5x wins. We're able to make exceptions for this at times, and luckily this was one such case since the Golden Joystick Celebration was a global event.

I meant to post a "how we design events" article a while back to provide a little more clarity on our approach. Maybe it's time I get around to writing that. :)

Howdy folks, we're pleased to present you with a series of bonuses to enjoy through this Veterans Day weekend.  Enjoy!

Return to Article

Veterans day specials are underwhelming.

WG can do better.

I also just bought Gold, there are no markings or captions to show which purchases will trigger donations to the Vets groups.

Neither the reg gold page NOR the gift shop have these specials noted, or offered.

So as far as I can tell, no one is gonna get a doantion ??

So you mean the massive-font allcaps labels CHARITY I, CHARITY II, CHARITY III are not clear enough for you in the gift shop? And I guess you also didn't read that 20% of the proceeds of those packages are going to vets charity?

You and VegasRon are horribly sad and bitter people. Underwhelming.. after what we just had last weekend for the GJ, and again a 5x event the weekend after. I will never understand you people.

Not a bad idea; the dev team might be convinced to take a look at some holidays outside of Halloween.

What no Christmas decorations coming?  I thought for sure...

Oh well,
