A light-hearted topic for light-hearted folks who like light-hearted discussion. Walruses welcome.  :Smile-tongue:

Direct SerB quote: "This is a game for casual players, not min-maxing accountants".

So, apparently, this game is for casuals. Like Farmville, only with tanks. Tanks that fire shells along a ballistic path, with historic penetration data, against historic armor layouts, with fairly accurate, modestly sophisticated armor penetration mechanics at work. Along with a very competitive Ultimate Conquest mode where clans comprised of real people compete every day for land on the map which grants Gold, premium in-game currency, to the owners of that land. This game is so casual that we have yearly competitions between the servers for Gold, glory, and bragging rights.

So, I ask my fellow tankers, what be ye?

Hmm, interesting. We have 8 casuals, 15 accountants, and 14 walruses. I'm thinking that Wargaming might not understand just what sorts of people are into tank games.

Poll is biased.  While Walrus is getting a significant amount of votes, we all know Bacon would win if it was on the poll.

I definitely lean more towards the casual end of this spectrum but that's not quite right either  o.o

I suppose my behavior leans towards min-maxing, but i don't care to farm any stat in particular. i do what i gotta do to get that shiny medal, and then move on to the next.

Woah. There are many more walruses than I expected. Why hasn't SerB ever mentioned them? Perhaps he has an anti-walrus bias?

I am a serious casual player.

However, at times my brother is here to play, and he is a somewhat more competitive sort than me.

So then I become casually serious.

Occasionally I am also in "will do anything for credits/tank xp/crew xp" grind mode, depending on just which goals/deadlines/offers are looming on the horizon.

Your poll is futile.

You will be simulated.
