I have been playing for about... 2-3 months now and I have thoughts about this game/company

Anyways,

Gameplay(8/10).
Has a few flaws that I find, which are the pen no dmgs, and the kv series of tanks with their armor, and the MM issues involving tier 6 and 3, this game is fantastic. I have rated it a 9/10 as most of these issues are minor.

Customer Service(5/10)

I dont submit alot of tickets, but they are pretty slow to anwser, but this is understandable. still 5/10


Public Relations(10/10)
This is what made me extremly happy with this tank(Game!!! LOL!). They have shown common courtesy towards Veterans, towards people affected by Hurricane Sandy, and other things. They are a amazing in this department. 10/10.


Forum Service. (2/10)
I feel that the forum moderation is really poor. Alot of people get away with rule breaking, and it saddens me. So this is why its a 2/10. Its just really poor.

In game talk service(10/10). The general chat is very well clean when a admin is nearby. Thats really well done. If a admin is not present, its not as clean, but its not really terrible either. I have to admit also that alot of the admins are pretty cool. Like Jewel_Thief. I like him/her. She/He is very... playful and I enjoy playful.

This company overall is a 8/10 rating to me. This is a fantastic game, and I will continue to keep playing. Cannot wait for World of Warships.

This is MY opinion, not anyone elses. Just thought I could/should review the company/game.



Edit: If I made a difference between game and company game would be a 9/10 still lol.

Company would be a 4/10.

Lol. Its just a problem that I find within the game. Its just extremly bouncy. kind of makes me mad.

imho, the game (considering it's size, population, and high expectations) is doing a very good job. Sure there are some rough corners that should be fixed soon, but overall they've done a nice job with the game. You will ALWAYS have those complainers that want the game their way, simply cause they're spoiled. SerB's well aware of this already, as he has all those complainers plus more in the RU forums. Communication with the devs is always something players whine about, but tbh, communicating to 500,000+ players isn't exactly easy, especially when you aren't sure of whether or not you're going to implement this or that feature. That's why the devs purposefully avoid certain questions, simply because answering them will most likely cause harsh repercussions if the feature doesn't turn out as planned.

Besides, what game actually gives you the opportunity to actually ask the LEAD developers (not some dinky script kiddie answering QnA's for a paycheck) questions about the game? I can't think of any I know!

People can be armchair developers all day, but the reality of it is that it's not easy, not easy at all.

As for wargaming, the higher ups could pay a lil more attention to the non russian servers imo. I havent played a good 10 straight games since may due to the client crashing. Now Im not playing beacuse something in my mouse broke and Im searching for a new one, the old one that broke I liked, kinda hard to find that though haha.

Just a thought.

Though, it came a long way from how it used to be. At least Match Making ain't like when Tanks between Tier 5 to 7 were oh so difficult....Back in the days before Patch 7.5....

Game Talk Service - Er. This is the In-Game Vent correct? If so, I never use it unless I'm in a Platoon which is a 1% chance that I'll ever be in one. I usually solo Public Battles.

Game Overall - 6/10 - Game isn't that addicting to me as it used to be. Sometimes, I would play other Games in order to take a break from this one.

Ever try the SU-100M1? or the KV-4? or the BT-7? The "magical myth" that WoT is biased towards russians is simply that, a myth, spawned by conspiracy to provide excuse for one's own lack of skill in the game. Now I play all russian tanks, but it's not because I heard they were OP. IN fact, I made the decision back before the game was even released that I was going to go down the USSR line exclusively (cause of my love of USSR machinery, and cuz of WiC). I can tell you that the USSR tanks aren't superior to all tanks. Sure you got kings like the KV-1 and the T-50, but other nations trump other tiers, like the German Hummel and Grille, and the US Chaffee and M18, and the French 13-90, and the British Cromwell.

I agree, they do a great job. They get a 8/10 rating for how well they actually maintain the game itself. The forums are pathetically ran by the moderators, but the game itself, is fantastic.

those two really do not trump the others of their tier, i owned all but the soviet versions of every nations spg up to tier 5, the grille has range and alpha, but accuracy, reload and all around usefulness goes to the french spg.  don't get me wrong, the grille is good, but the french version is just as good in its own way.

the hummel..  falls in line with the rest of its tier..  okay, not fair, the su-8 from all accounts i hear sucks quite badly..  but the m41 and amx13fam both equal it in one way or another.  i find the m41 to be more consistent in where and how it hits, and the fam beats the hummel in the agility department

Firstly, I thank you for your honest feedback, and also thanks to everyone else who listed both our strengths and areas of needed improvement - this is very valuable feedback.
I think our forum moderation is actually very good. But I do have the inside track on the sheer volume of terribleness being swept away before most of the public has to be confronted by it.

I having nothing but respect for the current moderators and devs on the forums, but I think they could use more of them.

Not even full moderators, just people to help out around the forums.


What about this?

There are plenty of level headed and experienced people around the world of tanks forum, and many are very active on the forums. Why not let them filter through some of the general reports, forwarding them onto the moderators. These people would essentially have extra "weight" placed on their word.
