One of the most blatant examples of invisatank I have had.
I am at C4 (just past the little bush going for the hill) in my KV-1
he is at E5 (just short of the turn to hilltop).
(my video software has a corrupted file, so I bailed and used webcam...sorry for quality, but it is only 15 seconds)

Reason: No known device to make anything disapear and not to be seen unless turned off
Explamation to problem: Camo net, Vents, And crew skill "Camoflauge skill"
Prognostic: Stop complaining and learn the balance of tanks.
Other example: Do you see a guy in a bush? (No) Does the guy in the bush see you (most likely). Your both in a bush. You have regular clothes on (red)
He has camoflauge paint on face camoflauged clothes. He is less likely to be spotted.

Something can actually be invisable, just turn off all the lights and there you go!
I mean no device can be put on something to make it disapear and not be seen anyway by human eyes unless the device is shut off. Therefore proving invisatanks dont exsist. Nonspotted tanks exsist but not invisatanks.
(Who came up with invisatanks garbad?)

I didn't wanna be the troll going off topic, but this was the first thing I noticed as well. Not the most constructive use of your ammo.

If you watched the video, the guy is 166M away. In a frickin M4A3E2, not a little LT. In the wide open. He is both moving (watch his tracks) and firing at me, to include after he disappears.
I have a 310M view range, a 100% crew (commander at 105%) with 91% recon perk/skill.
Sorry, but this scenario fails to meet the criteria in the video or in wiki that explains "poof". If you could, since I am obviously dense, provide a specific line or paragraph in wiki I should re-read? Rather than giving a one-size-fits-all answer (which, ironically, is a premise of this post...see opening line).
Further, I would ask that members not bother posting insults and/or negative assumptions about their fellow tankers...ask me what my experience is rather than casting snide comments like "Does nobody read the wiki?" or "They just play the game then whine about arty/spotting/light tank and spotting/too many arty/premium/gold rounds/garbad/RNG/camo/TDs and whatever else they don't like." I, and other gamers, don't need personal affronts. Thank you.
And thank you to those who posted trying to help me thus far.
Oh, and I edited the video seriously, so it didn't show the bonehead move that caught me out in the open alone, but it also did NOT show me trying the upper plate (although nowhere in particular...just kinda shotgunned) to no avail. You see the last-ditch attempt to pen somewhere before dying. --AND-- I am NOT complaining/whining about pen/lack thereof. I mostly understand that through wiki and videos. I had bad luck and bad aim. eh.

Another possibility, you had some packet loss and tank remained visible despite the fact that he actually backed off. You did not see him backing off, just gone when data was synced again. Although he does seem to maneuver just before he pulls a Copperfield so I dunno. Maybe. I see my own tank teleporting on me plenty of times recently so just a thought.
