GOLD ROUNDS ATE MY HOMEWORK

Come on, people; get a grip. A gold round is not a god round. It doesn't turn a crappy gun into a Hellfire missile launcher. It's just a crappy gun shooting with a very slightly higher chance of penetration. If you don't know where to aim, you still won't do any damage. Gold rounds bounce, too. In my experience, if you're in a situation where you feel you need a gold round (yes, I do carry a few on some of my tanks) you're probably already hip-deep in the green stuff and it's highly unlikely that fancy-smacny round will have any impact on the course of the game.
LOLRushing noobs, tardclumping, and AFKers all have a far greater impact on the game than what type of round a player is firing at any given moment. But if it really bothers you that much, then quit. Seriously. Go play something else. Because I'm sick and tired of seeing these idiotic threads, (which is why I made another one... um, or something like that).

There have been a few times gold rounds have helped me. But I too don't don't buy many. Yes they do take jobs... :-(

The things you can count on in any forum (be it Wargamming's or any other game):
a. Topics will be replicated and necroed again and again. The same subject will be beat so badly over and over you won't be able to identify the DNA.
b. Topics will center around some good ideas that will rarely, if ever, get implemented.
c. Topics will be started by players that believe that the developers actually read the forums (instead of, in Wargamming's case, some mods that forward tidbits from the server).
d. Topics will be started by players that believe their sage advice will help all the player base, while in actuality, forum participants are a small fraction of the community.

I'm sure this has come up before, but an option to load an HE round which blasts a color of paint would be funny.

actually, it DOES turn crappy guns into hellfire missle launchers. at least the WoT equivalent. derps get a dramatic increase in performance when packing HEAT.
