Two noob questions:

1.  How do I access a map to do one-on-one practice?  I saw a raft of 15-on-15, but I'm looking for someplace less active.

2.  is there a way to access a specific map to just explore it and learn the terrain while not fighting?

Thanks!

If you go to a training room (which you can create) you can join a map with one other person. I would love the ability to play on my own for 10-15mins and just drive around a map in 'practice' mode though. Give me a chance to learn more about the map and terrain without being shot at.

The only way I know of is with someone then you can create a battle in the training room and just make it private. It will be you against the other person. You don't have to kill each other but just roam around the map. You can pick the map you want to use. There is no way to do it by yourself and according to the last video they arent going to. I do this with my brother to figure out good hiding places to snip and hide from arty.

Thank you---I wasn't aware you could create one for just one-on-one.  I'll take a better look at it.

Make sure that you bring a fast tank to the training room.  There is no sense lumbering around in a heavy.

I made that mistake before. I had to exit out and get a different tank. But ya, Training Rooms are a great way to explore the map.

Allso good for Toon and CW pratice.  My glan do them alot to show new ways to set up before battle and we gone in with our sister baby clan members (a training clan) and showed them diffrent things they can do and where to set up ambushes.  IT was allso a nice way to test  out new tanks after patchs instead of finding out in pubs.

Unless that's the point.

If you're looking for terrain big enough to hide your T29's hull but not so big that you can't fire over it...  Well, your T-50 isn't really helping you much for that.

We spend time in training rooms on CW maps trying to figure out how to push certain tanks onto vantage points, where you can drown vs. get through water, who is spotting tanks and where, etc.  In those instances, doing it in the tank you're likely to drive is key.  Other than that, if you just want to play around in a training room bring a tier 5 or under light scout tank.
