The current exchange rate is 1g = 25xp. I don't know about everyone else but I feel like it should be 1g=100xp. This is real world $$ we're talking here. I'd even settle for 1g = 50xp. 25xp is low in my point of view. Let's see if we can get this changed!

Yet a single game with premium tanks can have over $1000 worth of "merchandise," and how often do we see these types of games ? Surely a ploy to get money is nothing new to wargaming, but those few acts of 'kindness/tired of complaints' do happen.

At the best purchase value $1 gets you 250 gold, at the worst purchase value $1 gets you about 179 gold.  This means that you are converting 25 XP for between $0.006 and $0.004.  Doesn't seem so like a bad deal to me, particularly for an optional activity.

something has to fund the awesome and ridiculously fun FREE game that has absolutely NO adverts .

1000 gold nets me 25k free xp and at the moment I'm sitting at 400k free xp so I don't think it's too bad.
