Okay, so, a couple things. First, TWQ is played with a single player character- it's easier for me to run that way, and it allows me to build a more coherent story. Second, in the TWQ universe, Warlocks are a rarity- there are male magic users, but their magic is vastly different, and in some ways much less powerful than Witch magic. In essence, they can do more magic casting, but they're fantastically fragile and volatile. So Warlocks as PCs are out, I'm afraid. Third, the POV character has been decided. That said...
I thought males just do fate-stay-night style "mana-replenishment." XD

Melee Witch is is!

Now then;
Are you a veteran or a rookie?
Are you trained in combat magic or traditional magic?
Are you a Radar Witch?
If you aren't a Radar Witch, what is your unique ability?
What model of Tank Striker do you pilot? (I would recommend something fast, but if you want to go for the slow swordsmaster deal...)
What is your enchanted melee weapon? (This can be literally anything you could sensibly use in combat.)
1: Rookie
2:Combat Magic
3:No
4:Epic Entertainment Values
5:a VK2801 like tank
6: a sword

Okay, based on the two submissions so far it's looking like you're rookie specializing in combat magic.
Now, as for your spell... come on. Actual super-power. Anything from super-strength to raising the dead. Anything.
You want a fast tank? T-50 or T-70 sound good? If you take the T-50, you'll be faster but have mechanical problems. If you take the T-70 you'll be able to mount AA guns.
Sword it is. What kind? You can pick basically anything, but be reasonable. No katanas.

Now, we just need Panzerjakey to decide what he wants to do...

Okay then. If no one else has anything to suggest, let's get started.

You are Sublocotenent Calvinia Bucădos, a newly-trained Romylesc Armoured Witch recently assigned to the 1st Armoured Witches out of Kiev. You awake in the rumbling belly of a Kievannan cargo plane, somewhere between Bucharest and Kiev. You were leaning against the small gantry holding your new T-70M Striker, a Kievannan export model. Most of the other trainee Witches at boot camp received Germanian Striker models, but because you'll be stationed in the Kievannan Union of Republics Under God it makes sense to have a home-grown model.

There are three other people in the cargo bay. Sturmbannfuhrer Michelle Wittmann, the XO of the 1st Armoured Witches, is reading a small hardbound book in a far corner. You got a bit of time to know her when she escorted you to the airport, but she doesn't seem the sociable type. She's actually wearing her Panzer VI Striker, the huge assembly of heavy machinery encircling her with menacing rings of armour plate. Across from you, three Airborne Witches, one in Germanian uniform, one Guomin, the third Kievannan, are playing cards. Judging from the worn state of their clothing, and their relaxed attitude, they're all veterans, probably back from leave somewhere in western Europa.

What do you do?
  • Examine Striker
  • Examine self
  • Introduce yourself to the Airborne Witches
  • Speak to Wittmann
  • Look out the window
Be detailed and specific with your choices! Don't just say "Talk to x." Say "Talk to x about y and z, then mention b and see how x reacts."

I took a bit of a hiatus on North Ifrike because only you and SpanishArmada were posting on it. You were great, but it can be frustrating to see your audience stop contributing. I just needed some time off, and I wanted to try some new quest-running concepts with Kievanna. TWQ North Ifrike will be back soon, don't worry.

Your T-70M striker is hardly a top-of-the-line model, but it's simple construction and sturdy, reliable design apparently make it fairly common among the Kievannan arcane forces. It's got a boxy, angular waist-piece with wide, sloping exhausts for the two oversized magic engines built into the legs, as well as surprisingly delicate tracks. There is the usual back/torso harness holding a few light armour plates, marked with the yellow-on-red Romylesc eight-pointed star. The Striker is oddly asymmetrical; the left arm and shoulder is overarmored, leading down to the combination 45mm/DT machine gun mount. Having twin weapons like this is unusual, but in training you've gotten used to the combination. The right shoulder-plate is surmounted with a brass-reinforced human skull, surrounded by two loops of the same metal inscribed with necromantic runes. Combat necromancy, even though it is your innate magical talent, is still a remarkably finnicky arcane art, and the use of relics like human remains is often necessary.

The Striker has no fancy electrical systems beyond a radio, although you know it's capable of generating reasonably strong arcane shields. The compartments that hold standard Witch CQC gear have been removed, replaced by the sheath for your (as yet unnamed) rune-carved steel longsword.

Across the aircraft hangar, one of the Airborne Witches says something unintelligible over the drone of the plane's engines and the three women break into uproarious laughter.

Suggestions:
  • Examine self
  • Examine your sword
  • Introduce yourself to the Airborne Witches
  • Speak to Wittmann
  • Look out the window

Are you a veteran or a rookie?
Are you trained in combat magic or traditional magic? (Combat magic is simpler and more effective in a fight, traditional magic is versatile but requires time to use)
Are you a Radar Witch (Radar Witches act as scouts/reconnaissance for Witch groups, and can detect Martians, but they lack offensive magical abilities)
If you aren't a Radar Witch, what is your unique ability? (Basically, pick a superpower, within reason. I'll develop it from there.)
What model of Tank Striker do you pilot? (As a Romylesc, you can pick any Soviet non-prototype tracked vehicle in production by the end of 1943, or any Romanian vehicle from the same period. Anything from a small TD to an IS-series tank.)

Also, be advised; in this universe, Germania and Kievanna are united against the Martians, but they have huge ideological differences. As a citizen of Romyle, you may find yoursself having to choose a side.

POST AWAY! THIS IS YOUR CHARACTER, YOU BUILD HER AS YOU SEE FIT!

Hmm i'll join in for amusement lol, i thought this was dead or dying.See how long this lasts.

1.Rookie. (Hoping some upgrades do come later.)
2.I dont know any good names for now.... Making mine a TD/Sniper.
3.Not sure, see ability. What does it fall under?. TD/Sniper stays back from actual combat, but can perform some CQC like in WOT.

4.
EDIT.Nvm the first ability i posted then,i finalise with this.
Time Alterations like in the Game Timeshift and Singularity.
[Like in the games, there are limits to the time alterations you can make.
Since she has not fully mastered it,she can only use it in the three basic ways, like in Timeshift.
Which are slowing, stopping or even rewinding time.

5.SU-85. (Wish i could use the SU-100,though,it was just one year away.)

Ummm, sorry. It doesn't work that way. I appreciate the effort, though. Running a post-by-post RP with multiple PCs like that is well-nigh impossible unless all the participants are active 24/7, which is unreasonable. So we're sticking to one PC for now.

Also, responses to the previous two posts soon.

Oh, ComradeHX. You cheeky bastard, you.

While the vibration of the plane's engines is not entirely... unpleasant, you are in the same room as four ranking officers. And Airborne Witches have an... unsavory reputation. All that high-altitude flying does strange things to the female brain, or so they say. You dismiss any perverted thoughts from your mind.

You are wearing a heavy brown Romylesc cavalry coat, cut short so it won't interfere with the workings of your Striker. Instead of the standard uniform trousers, you're wearing a set of close-fitting silk contact tights, their surface studded with the small silver disks that interface your body's arcane powers with your Striker's arcanotechnical systems. Over top of that is a heavy woolen skirt, also fairly short, with several clips for tying it down to your Striker's upper hull.

You also have a small duffel stuffed with stuff.

Your current inventory:
  • 1x Beretta 9mm 1934 service pistol, with plenty of ammo
  • 1x Combat knife, non-arcane
  • 1x Full-stocked first-aid kit
  • 1x Set of basic gear (spare socks, underwear, canteen, rations, toiletries, small paperback novels, pictures of your family, etc)
  • 5x Doses of rapid-acting sorghum extract (Can restore and boost your magical properties. Heavy consumption over a short period of time can be extremely unhealthy.)
  • 2x Prepared compacted jackdaw constructs (Small, easy-to-reanimate skeletons which you can use to scout or carry messages.)
  • 1x vial of enchanted human blood. (Breaking this will raise hungry ghosts for a short period of time, generating an impenetrable mist and seriously unnerving anything living nearby.)

Once again, you reaffirm your commitment to not performing an act of public indecency.

You stand up partially, drawing your longsword from its sheath. It catches briefly- looks like something dented part of the clips holding it in place. If you hadn't discovered it now, baaaad things could have happened in combat. You try try to remember to have it fixed when you arrive.

The sword is pretty, but not that remarkable. It's got a straight, double-edged steel blade, inscribed with the runes that'll channel your arcane field through it, and a thick blocky hilt. You heft it, noting that it's fairly well-balanced and sturdy, and also that there are three small indentations on the pommel. You know that some more martially-inclined Witches have small, enchanted gemstones mounted in these slots, to give their magic weapons all kinds of exotic capabilities. Hmmmm. You've yet to think of a name for this thing.

Further down the plane, Wittmann's Striker whirrs mechanically as she checks her watch, then makes a disappointed scoffing noise.

"How long, ma'am?," inquires the Germanian Airborne Witch. Wittmann sighs, glancing over one bulky arm of her Striker.

"Five more hours, Rall."

The Airborne Witch, Rall, slumps back in her seat, swearing. After a few moment's grumbling, the card game resumes. There is a change in the interior noise of the plane as the door to the pilot's compartment opens and one of the pilots goes to the plane's toilet, leaving the cockpit accessible.

What do you do?
  • Look out the window.
  • Speak with Wittmann.
  • Introduce yourself to the Airborne Witches.
  • Get up and move around. What are you going to do when you're up? Sword drills? Check out the cockpit? Explore the plane?
I deliberately left Calvinia's appearance vague. If you want to specify what she looks like, go ahead. Having distinctive features will obviously effect how people act towards your character. This is entirely optional, however.

Also, INVENTORY MANAGEMENT, WOOOOOOOO! No need to worry about carrying weight- if it's reasonable, you can carry it. You'll also have the opportunity to ccustomize your gear and get upgrades if you want them.

Okay then. You are Sublocotenent Calvinia Bucădos, an attractive blonde Romylesc Witch who rides around in a Striker with a skull mounted on one shoulder, using a longsword instead of a gun. Also, you can raise the dead. And you regularly go around with vials of blood, toxic organic substances, and the skeletons of small animals on your person.

Fuck yeah, this is gonna be good.

You peek out the window, squinting through the dirty, frost-lined glass. Below you stretches the rolling, wintery terrain of the KURUG. It's a cloudy, snowy night. The plane is flying relatively low, to keep out of reach of high-altitude Martian air patrols which you know sometimes sneak by the European Allied air defence grid. You realize that Christmas is only a couple of months away. You'd noticed the cooling of the weather back in Bucharest, but it never really occurred to you how late in the year it was. There is a brief flash of light as you pass over a village surrounding a train line, and then only the darkness of the wintry night.

Except... hold on. There's something following the plane. It's indistinct against the night, but whatever it is it's about human-sized and it's definitely keeping pace with the aircraft. Ummm... You're not sure what to think. If it is a Martian or a threat it would have attacked by now. Martians don't do subtlety. Well... sometimes. You've heard some worrying rumours.
  • Don't worry about it.
    • Get up and stretch your legs
    • Introduce yourself to the other Witches
    • Speak with Wittmann
  • Inform the other passengers about what is going on while trying not to scream/start crying (You are a rookie, after all. This is scary.)
Also, bit of backstory. In the TWQ universe, Russia is a totalitarian theocracy instead of a communist dictatorship. Hence, Kievannan Union of Republics Under God (KURUG) instead of USSR. Also, Germania is a country of moderate Marxist socialists. Hence the ideological differences.
