Why not bring in something like division play? What we see is that multiple teams sign up every week in the same line up (same teams win most of the times too btw). If there is a consistent group of guys playing every week, you could end up with divisions being equally skilled by letting the winners promote to the winners division. That way everyone ends up playing against teams of similar skill level, and for the top skilled teams it will be more interesting to play against heavy opposition instead of having 3 or 4 steamrolls every time.

Scrims are intended for practice and gaining experience for a team, not winning and gaining gold. If you have the right perspective and truly want to get better at the game, losing to the 'teams that always win' is the best way to learn.
Petitioning WG to reorganize scrims and starve you and your team of quality practice isn't a good way to make improvements.
TD;DR - Winning in scrims does't mean a whole lot if you want practice (you know, the point of scrims).

Exaxtly my point. The best can only become better by playing teams that are equally good. If they win 6 matches on a night without losing 1 tank, and have 2 matches that actually give them a hard time and it comes down to the last 2 tanks standing, which ones do you think are more valuable as practice?
I think to improve the teams from the NA server, the best teams should fight the other awesome team. If they compete against the worst teams in the division, it's no practice for them, just noob harvesting.
Another advantage from division play is that inactive teams will come in last by default, so they can be eliminated from the tournament more easily in the next week.

In a global effort to experiment with the traditional 7v7, 42 point system- we're increasing the point limit to 43 for this weekend's scrimmages. We appreciate any feedback on the point adjustment!
Does this mean the other servers are also trying out the 43 point limit?

So these tests are determining if the standard should be changed? Currently I think only the RU/EU servers have enough competition to really support proper testing of format changes.

Nice to be the guinea pigs of the game for the rest of the world.

the registration page kept coming up with "server down for maintenance"
Might have just missed out, but doesn't really matter now. all good.

I made a huge mistake and just read the tournament page. It did not say we could have 10 team members. I only secured 7 and then a couple guys had life get into the way.

Only 7 players can play in a match, so the description is right.
In the registration conditions, (which have been removed after registration closed) it did say that a team could register with 10 players as a maximum.
