If you really think that control_modes.pyc file is the cause of error, right after you experience the problem, close the client immediately and attach python.log file in the installation directory to your reply.

Any chance you could replace the minimap from your mod with the one from here: http://www.mediafire...c5e0fclj7y573wf ?

Specifically if I could get the box which is ShapeId="5" from there into yours it would be perfect. I would do it myself but I am functionally retarded when it comes to flash and xml.

has anyone tried running this (the serverside reticle) on the 8.4 test?

well there is one problem:

the angle indicator is stuck where it's not supposed to be.

removing battletimer is a temporary solution and can be reworked once 8.4 hits.

Mentioned here after using it in 0.8.4 EU server.
It is not working anymore. The turret transverse indicator and all others are misplaced.

Checking to see if people are having issues running this mod with 8.4 I am looking for the server crosshair mod in particular.

yep same thing here turrent traverse is borked. locked at like 350 degrees and in the top of the screen cut off

I disabled the battletime.swf in this mod & most other features are working fine now.  Still, the traverse indicator was great & I miss it so I sure hope this mod gets updated soon.

the old serverside crosshairs still work.

The only problem that kill messages after you die no longer display.

I couldn't test my mod because I transferred my account to the new server which is still in 0.8.3 and NA server's is blocked. Furthermore, I cannot log in to the test server because of it.

I'll post a test file in a few days. The traverse indicator(gun orientation meter, protractor or whaterver) will be removed or replaced with MeltyMap's.

I removed BattleTimer.swf and zoom out. It's tested for EU server but I want to test it for NA server. If there's no error, I'll update the first post.

+1 to you, garnet_auxo ... thank you for updating.

I will be testing tonight.  In the mean time, I wanted to ask - I have seen several server reticles for tanks/tank destroyers which have custom color scheme.  Is it possible for this mod to include a custom color scheme for the artillery server reticle?

There is a color setting in the DARS Setting.xml file, but this does not change the color of the server reticle.  These colors are probably a function of the *.dds files (gun marker and gun marker blue).  I've come across some mods which update the server reticle for arcade and sniper view, but not for strategic (artillery) view.

I installed the new updated mod, and my game won't get past the loading screen. I uninstalled it and everything went back to working.

Is anyone else having this issue? As usual it could be the order I installed it or something. I love this mod, and will continue testing releases.

It's for the strategic mode. If you wanna change the color and shape of the serverside crosshair, visit here.

Btw, is my mod working? both time to target and serverside crosshair?
