A tanker crewing a vehicle that he is not trained for may earn less experience:

• In a vehicle the same class, there is no penalty if the vehicle is a premium vehicle, otherwise he earns 50% less.
  
• In a vehicle of a different class, he earns 50% less if the vehicle is a premium vehicle, otherwise he earns 75% less.

So as has been stated you put your medium German crew in a Lowe they get a quarter less xp than if you put them in the T25 or any other premium German med.

Because you don't know who to drive it?  Hell you can make 5k credits in it on a bad loss.  Last game I made around 50k.  Average probably around 20-25k.  Good thing you sold it though...you'd give all us Skoda drivers a bad name.
