Is there any popular mods that helps your FPS? I have a decent graphic card with a fairly good processor but can't get more than 45FPS on max. This is very frustrating because everyone seem to have 50+ even with lower end cards.

I tried medium, high and max, the FPS doesn't change it stick at 37 in average, I don't understand. Last time I tried lowest settings, the FPS didn't go higher than 70. This less than what I get playing starcraft 2 on ultra.

Is there anything similar to "optifine" in minecraft? A mod that keeps your setting maxed out but improve the performance?

45 FPS is fairly nice of FPS for WoT really...once you get past 30 FPS, the human eye cannot make out any extra differences. Try millbarges' mods or try to run the normal graphics with everything turned to lowest.

There was a mod i saw. It remove's all effects and almost all the environments. That should increase your fps. Search Curse.com. That's where i saw the mod.

I'm looking for something that keeps everything like fire, foliage and such but improve the fps, my card can take some, it's just WoT having a pretty shitty configuration. It's why I'm looking a mod that can maybe fix the low fps issue for certain card?

I would have to disagree. I can very easily tell the difference between 30 FPS, 60 FPS and 120 FPS. Its actually quite easy to spot the difference once you have enough experience.

That used to be the case until I found noobleplatoon's version of speedtree. It is amazing, all the other speedtrees lag me but his allows me to run at 70+ FPS at opportune moments.

WOT is a hard game to get good fps even with a good computer,I tried Drax HD texture and it helped to get 5-10 more FPS and the game looks better too

ya true. I run about 50 fps with maxed graphics. I just makes me feel good every time I look at my fps.

It also could be your internet connection. When I have good connection I get 60+ FPS, when I don't I get lower than 50.

What's your anti-aliasing set to? One setting down can make a huge difference.

My AA is LQ, but I didn't notice any difference with it at max, low or off. Like I said, it doesn't matter what my graphics are at, I cant get past 45fps even with a really good card.

Hell, I play BF3 maxed out with more fps...

If you go on Curse, look for No Vegetation by Artasan, and yes its a speedtree mod. But make sure u download No Vegetation, NOTNo Vegetation Plus. This mod will really help boost your fps. Just make sure no to download the plus one, you will lag to high heaven if you use that one. :Smile-tongue:

Also try Millbarge's Effect Remover or WoT Tweaker for 8.2. They both basically do the same thing, but i personally prefer WoT Tweaker because you can pick and choose which effects you want to remove and it has it's own control panel of sorts which adds to its convenience. Also if you need any links i can get'em for you. GL!

I think your specs are pretty good! Do not use full graphic settings. I use max view range and a combo of medium or lower settings for everything else. My video is better but my CPU is very old by many people here's standards. I get 45 to 80 fps depending on what you are looking at. I think that is fine. Only when I run through a wall or large explosions happen in front of me does my fps drop to 7.

JUST FYI - In WoT, if you get 30-45 FPS, in FULL max mode, you're doing OK. I can run SC2, PS2, BF3 all on maxed out settings and get 60FPS or higher.

Wot's engine is just not optimized. So don't worry, just turn down the effects for sniper mode, vegetation/foliage and you'll be set.

120 fps or nothing. gtx 670 and a overclocked fx4100 running at 4.5ghz, i never dip below 100.
but someone needs to make a graphic overhaul mod, full HD textures. redone tank skins all that stuff would just make this game great
