It shoots wide every chance it gets, even when fully centered on a tank at less than 300m, constantly low rolls damage leaving tanks with less than 150hp alive to shoot back at least one more time taking more of my precious life giving hp and turning the Turret even slightly blooms the crosshair to the size of the moon.

I know Premium Tanks are supposed to be statistically worse than Tanks of it's tier but the TOG has the most Glaring Artifical handy caps for a tank that relies so much on it's DPM to keep it alive.

I'm coming here before lert, so I'll let him finish you off. The TOG II* is absoulutly amazing, and if I can hit a ELC at top speed at 300 meters, you better not complain.

I know it's amazing, this is why I have 349 battles in it, but the gun feels too artifically handy capped, not asking for much here, just a tiny buff to ROF and accuracy

also hitting an ELC moving like that isn't special, I did that in my churchill III all the time, and I have 1400 battles in that.

I've had no issues with the TOG II's gun, its accurate enough, sure its no L100 75mm laser rifle but its still pritty good to use at long range and you can just blat away as the guns reload time is fast (with a 100% crew and rammer)

Gun seems fine to me, just alwasy seems to get low RNG rolls for me though.

Yeah goon165, I pay close attention to your youtube channel, and you have me nearly convinced to get a tog.  So what's the verdict? Do I do it or not?

I love my Tog, but idiots that try ramming  to speed me up really piss me off because they get damaged a little and i pay for it, as for the gun, yeah i noticed it can sometime be off but on the whole it is a awesome gun that guarantees me 1 or more kills a game, if anyone hates togging alone and want to do some platoon togging please toon up with me "falcar" as i don't know any other toggers yet.

edit : 2 Toggers are better than 1. "Lets give em a good Togging"

Any forum posts that insist the TOG II is deficient get my full approval.  As a TOG II driver, I feel such posts go a long way towards holding off any future nerfs.  So keep the complaints coming!

I have no issues with the togs gun, though admittedly it's accuracy deficit considering tis' the dame gun as the one on the Churchill BP is retarded.   I cannot figure for the life of me why magically the same gun on a much larger chassis magically would become less accurate despite using a more modern turret design.

I blame incredibly Russian ignorance and bias for this.

Why is the turret design more modern?
TOG II predates the Black Prince considerably...

I'm not gonna 'finish off' anyone. All I'm gonna do is disagree.

Goon, I disagree.

See? That wasn't so hard, was it ...

Because the TOG was never a production machine they built the turret in 1943 to test the gun in a turret mounting and they decided to test it on the TOG II chassis.  The turret was purpose built for the gun, but was designed to be not for a front line machine, but a prototype and tester.

RNG is a cruel mistress, regardless of tank.

Last night I had my Conq shoot high/wide four times when fully aimed on stationary targets. I also shot a tank a few matches later and rolled minimum damage on two consecutive shots.

That's just how it is, lol.

I've had several rounds take detours from their intended target at the worst possible times, other times I've been surprised to have hit what I was shooting at.  Chalk it up to the RNG.  It might be a spot more than I'm used to on my other tanks, but it's doable.  Just wish I would get a better RNG roll on my hits, I have yet to even get the "Average" damage amount on a hit yet.  I've got the server reticle enabled, so I know I'm dead nuts on when I click the trigger.  So long as you've got a decent team/platoon, a miss here or there isn't as crucial as a miss on a terribad team, so I guess I can live with it.  Honestly, there is much worse.

It's entirely possible that TOG's gun gets a - .... sloppier RNG than the 17 pdr on Black Prince. I haven't specifically noticed this myself, but I could understand something like that for balancing reasons. After all, it's a great gun for its tier.

That could make sense since it is a premium tank.  It's not too often it takes fits on me, but when it does it's for several shots in a row, then it's spot on again.  At first I thought it might have been server side/isp side,(lag and/or packet loss) but checked on that and nope, it's just RNG being RNG.  Still very decent tank.
