Alright, so I killed a t95 ince after he shot my in my ELC AMX, so I was wondering, what lower teir tank could kill any or almost any tank in the game one on one? I'd have to say it would be the ELC, massive pen without gold, nice reload, speed to evade enemeis, if you drove it right you could probably solo almost any tank in the game (I doubt you could kill the batchat though).

what do you think?

therefore it is the best tank

uhh yes, for 240 damage and up to 310 pen with gold rounds on a teir 5 tank, that is very easily comparable to higher end guns on russian heavy tanks.

ELC's turret traverse automatically eliminates it from any 1v1 contention.

ELC is junk, its like a T50 with a limited turret.
50-2 (and T-50) is fun, but its gun is too small to do much damage to high tiers.


So I would say the VK2801 with 105mm using mostly HE rounds and getting mean splash damage

Any tier 9 tank. Normally they have a tier 10 gun, along with armor comparable to the tier 10.

usually implying both start on full health and have no other tanks influence

The only tank that could reliably 1v1 another tank is the VK2801 as it has the power to determine the location, etc. of the conflict. Other tanks are too slow so it comes to random chance of who meets who first.

A T-50-2 could also circle-strafe most tanks to death as long as the tank being attacked has poor side armor

A fully loaded Foch 155, with some RNG love.

That can be defeated by use of hard cover though.  Get close enough to a building or rock, and the smaller tank will have to swing out wide enough that you'll be able to aim at them.

Noobs use HE spam with the 2801. HEAT all the way guys.
