I find it impossible to get Top Gun personally, I only have around 25 or 26ish but I have tons of 5 kill games. Do I get like a 4th place medal for those?

Yes, it should count for crew experience as well.

Thanks, and sorry, I wasn't trying to brag, it was more of a thank you for the extra experience.
It also helped in getting my T-127 crew promoted up one level this weekend to 3 skills at 100% + 50% on the forth skill (the commander is now a major). I had several Top Guns in that, again not bragging since it is a tier 3 after all, but my goal was to get the crew leveled up by Christmas, which I did on my last game just before heading out to the in-laws for some holiday cheer. What a grind that is in a tier 3/tier 2 tank (it's trained on the BT-2). I wanted to get a Major on a light, medium and heavy crew and the was the light. I just have a TD crew to go now and will likely never have an arty crew above 80% on the primary.
Needless to say, I am looking forward to the x3 crew bonus on the next part of the promotion to get these guys up a bit more and the extra bonuses for the awards are always appreciated to help move them along:

I have a question and am not sure if i should start a new thread or ask in this one.
I just finished a match that ended in a Draw. I got 6 kills and a player on the other team got 7. Both top scores for our respective teams. The other guy got the Top Gun Award not me.
My reading of the achievement was that it was highest kills with 6 or more on your "team", not for all players in the match. Am I missing something?
