Well there was seven days war between Egypt and Isreal.

Egypt: bought tanks from USSR
T-54,T-34/85 and T34 (I believe)

Isreal: M3 Patton(the super Patton), centurion (British medium tank)

Well Isreal is going to have an advantages because the tier level are higher than Egyptian tanks

We can do better than that. ^^^  :Smile_blinky:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6_Day_War

If we wanted to set up a balanced force, I would suggest input from WoT [for play balance issues] - however, a simple game would be using El Hallouf, Airfield, Sand River.

Egyptians with something like 10x T-34/85 fully upgraded + 5x SU-100 [100mm gun, otherwise fully upgraded];
Israelis: 3x AMX 13/75's, 3x M4 Sherman [M1A1 76mm], 9x M4A3E8.

The above is only trying to 'tier balance'; would need WG input for a better adjustment.

* note *

Not available: T-54 series, Patton, Centurion w/105mm upgrade.  Within the limitations of WoT [when WILL we see an Israeli tank tree?], this is close enough.

Also left out: artillery.  There is still a fair bit of towed/transported arty here.

Why cant we use these? And for the Israeli tree, Israel was created when Jews in Europe (namely Germany) were allowed/asked to leave, because of many things, mostly because 6 million of them had been killed there. For the first ~10-20 years they used borrowed tanks, From the US and her allies. So, because they didn't really start making tanks till what, 1970's? 1960's? And these were modern, smooth-bore guns, which were stated to be the cut off point in what tanks will be allowed in.

And why do we need WG's support with these? Last time i checked this was the community event page, not WG's :/

anyway,
cheers -hihilow56

You could also do M-48s vs. IS-3s.  The Egyptians had a regiment (or maybe it was a battalion) equipped with IS-3's.  There were several encounters between HEAT slinging Israeli M-48's and Egyptian IS-3 in Sinai during the Six Day War.

Or -- Jordanian M-47's or M-48's vs. Israeli M-48's -- can’t off-hand think of any historical incidents of this occurring but a hypothetical might also work.

Or, Golan matching Syrian T-54's against Israeli Centurions.

I think you are thinking of the Six Day War, not Seven. And Israel won and won big. This battle would be very interesting to do and would allow for a lot of high teir vehicles. The map would, no doubt, be El Halluf as it's terrain would be a great simulation for a battleground such as on Gollan Heights or the Sianai Peninsula. The tank roster would also be very diverse. The "Arab" side would consist or IS3's, IS8's, T54's and a few T62A's along with a few T34-85's. The Israeli side would consist of M48 Pattons, Centurions, Some M46 Patton's, and a few M4A3E8 Shermans. This would be a fascinating battle to do as The battlefields of the Middle-East were the location of some of the most intense examples of tank warfare.

Regardless of what people want to say about them... The Israelis have one of, if not the best armies in the world.
