After Anschluss Austria was part of Nazi Germany and only austrian tank i can think of is SK 105 Cuirasser from 1960s

Anyhow, to the point, Austria is essentially an amalgamated province for Germany during WW2 (not trying to undermine their nationalism), but if you play a game like "Axis and Allies" you see Austria to lack autonomy in their contribution to the war effort as its own military force (ally in need of differentiation). But the WG developers have hinted in developing an independent Japan tech tree, you should check the forum postings. As for Italy, there have been a panel of discussion considering the possibility of an individual Italian tech tree or a European Tech tree.
In the 8.1 update discussion thread I addressed the concern of nations that contributed to the war effort but had too few tanks to make a complete tech tree, the developer's response is that a premium tanks, released much like the initial 2 PLA tanks (the Types 59 and 62) may be all that exists for that country but allows for some level of representation/inclusion within the game. (Case in point, I brought up the Vickers Mk I Indian variant Vijayanta).

Currently all Austria is slated for is being part of the upper end of the EU tree, and Japan has been LONG confirmed to be the next tree (and then reconfirmed to be next after China)

Didn't enter production until 1971 actually, and yes, that's as far as I know the only indigenous Austrian tank.

Problem with Austria (besides the Anschluss): Almost all of the military vehicles of Austria-Hungary were made by Škoda Works. Guess where that company was.
