Ideally I would like to see the Lowe fixed.  It started at 7500 gold, then the price got upped to 12500.  Ever since then, the Lowe has taken it up the tailpipe when it comes to balance changes.  Its not the worst tank in the game, but it does "enjoy" the worst Tier 8 premium win rate.  (InB4 all the "because newbs buy it" comments).  I've passed up this tank on two sales so far because even at the sale price it just isnt worth it.  The lowe could be easily fixed by just giving it the same matchmaking as the IS-6, JagTiger88, or the Type 59.

That all being said, its not going to happen.  There is no profit to bringing the Lowe on par with the other Tier 8 premiums.  The cold reality is they've already made their money on the Lowe.  They might sell a handful more if they fixed its MM or buffed it to bring it in line with the other Tier 8 Premiums in terms of win rate.  But it would not be a windfall of profit.  There would be a LOT of people that would benefit from it that wouldnt be buying it.  This is not the Wargaming way....

But we still have the problem, German Heavy Drivers either pay $50 for an under-performing tank that draws Tier 10 artyfests battles, or they lack a premium crew training option altogether.  So how can Wargaming fix this without putting forth any real effort, and still turn a profit?

The tank is already made.  Just pick out the hardware you want to sell it to us with, and slap it on the market so we can buy it.

be careful what you wish for.  this is WG we are talking about..   you will get it, with 20mm less armor, frontal transmission, stock kv-1 gun bent in half, and only sees tier 7 matches, nothing lower (as a tier 5)

Meh, I've kinda given up on supporting this game... way to much randomness involved (can't play clan wars due to time-zone and no server swap option..wtf) and pub matches are just like call of duty games...stack 15 players on one team and another fifteen on the other, then pretend it to be teambased when everybody does whatever they want. Was fun i guess...

Its amazing how some people will take any chance at all to berate others over something that they themselves fail to understand. I myself have put off purchasing the Lowe due to its dismal mm and low wr in relation to all other tier 8 premmies. good post OP I just wish others would stop to think before running off at the mouth.

I agree another premium heavy would be good, but something like a tier 4 or 5. My suggestion would be the "Gross traktor" (actual WWII tank), to replace the B2 you used to be able to get

There is another Heavy German premium tank, the B2.

(it was OP who mentioned the Type 59, so even if this other option has a limited availability, it is still an option.)

got my lowe way back at the 7500 gold price, never had a issue with mm with it, dont want no lower tier mm value with it, make less credits that way .
i want to make credits , not slap baby seals with it.
its a credit machine not a stats padding tank.
i laugh at all you who cry for some thing as you can not use the tools given, you want to buy some thing based on its stats ? there you go says every thing needed to no , you a stats warrior, who cares about stats ? why the worry on them? i seen the so called unicums in battle caught one alone in battle the other day , at the mercy of pub battles.
yeap he got noob slapped down too pub level .
but for a unicum , should he not have had 10 kills ? no he had 0 , was in a postion with 0  support as pubs dont support people.
then when his support did push, i guess from his rants, it was a turkey shoot.
so blow off the stats , the lowes a great tank if you no how to use it , to make credits.
want a stats padding tank as i guess you do , buy lower tier prem tanks .

The cupola would give it better view range. The gun would be accurate as well.

Having the lowe sence release I will take the time to advise any players thinking about purchasing the lowe to look elsewhere if the question ever comes up. Having the super pershing which is infinitely more fun to play and can make equal money, I find the lowe more work than it is fun to play. I currently only use it for the one x2(or whatever it is x daily) for my E-75 crew for a little bump to training and some credits. I would rather drive the E-75 with no multiplier than drive the Lowe with a 2x...

To be honest, I really am fine with just about everything with this tank. Except the straight line speed and acceleration. I am fine with the engine placement, lack of hull armor, size and height increase, whatever.... But it shouldn't be this slow. Even like a 100Horse Power buff or something? I would be happy with 50... Just something to get me off the line a bit faster, I don't even care about its top speed. The T34 is faster isn't it?

The Lowe, just like the T34 has a tier 9 gun with good pen and damage. As such, both face tier 10's and as such is correct that they should.

Honestly I agree with the OP. That's why on the premium tank sale we had recently I bought a T34 instead of a Lowe, even though I run the E-100 line primarily.The Lowe does seem on the weaker side of tier 8s. However, one of the main reasons that I didn't buy the Lowe was because I had already passed through the Tiger II, which is a much more heavily armored tank than the Lowe and seems to catch fire a lot less. You know it's sad when I always penetrate a Lowe head-on in my Super Pershing but all my shells do is ping off a King Tiger.
