So I am sure most of us have heard of the landkruzer Ratte, if not heres a picture:




anyways while this tank will never be in game, usable by players, I was thinking what if we had a 40 vs Ratte event. So a team of 40 would try to take down the Ratte which will be played by a developer, can not be any normal player.

The Ratte would have the advantage of health and firepower only. It will have weakspots and will be pennable by any tier 8 fully upgraded.  It will just have a massive amount of HP.


Furthermore I believe WG has already made the tank as kind of a troll so development of this "game mode" shouldnt take as long. I dont remember where I saw this but I think they did make it.


If the team of 40 wins, they get like 400 gold each or something like that. If Ratte wins nothing happens.

2. Facehug it because none of its guns could possibly reach you.

3. Fire away

I wouldn't say this event is worth gold because it would just be so easy to defeat, just tedious.

I'll just knock on it's lower hatch, when the dude opens up, i'll drive my T-50 into it and kill the crew, game over....

This and this, maybe not exactly like it since finding 15 T-34-85s at any given moment might be difficult, but a similar concept would be awesome.

To be fair, it's been a while since the last Ratte thread.

Also, @OP: No. No, no, no, no, no, a thousand times no. One for every time this exact thing has been suggested and shot down.

Why would you call it a Monster event anyways? the Monster and Ratte are different tanks.

Its so huge i mean u wold need arty to dmg it it. (it would have so much armor)

Any sources you'd find list 200 or less for side or rear armor. That means that anything tier 8 should have zero problem killing it.
