Lower tier is irrelevant as any "good" low tiers are just people in elited tanks rocking camo and equipment with skilled crew against pubbies that probably have 50% crew.

win % really is the best measure. The more you affect your team positively the more you'll win.

XP doesn't paint a clear picture either. I can get 500 - 900 XP a game in a loss, and I can get 300 XP in a win. There are way too many factors that weigh in for skill that one metric isn't enough, but if I had to pick one, it has to be WR. This game is about team work and winning... nothing else and WR reflects that.

1.5x tier HP pool is good for tanks and TD's. Scouts and SPG's are a beast of a different matter....
IE: Tanks: TIer 5 (rough ave HP for tier 5: 500), 750 dmg/game is a good start.

I believe the metric should only count for the last 1k battles in a rolling avg. This would help to differentiate our present eff rating from the full historical when we all pretty much sucked as we began the game. Once someone starts to understand tactics and teamwork involved it gets much better. My last 1k battles dont even compare to how horribad i was in the beginning. All due to too much face hugging and taking too many chances.
Hit Ratio and Win Ratio are good indicators combined to give a somewhat accurate picture of what a tanker is capable of.

Cause more damage, get more kills, and less of your teammates will die. WR is the best metric for skill, because it shows how much you influence your team to victory.
