It has 118mm frontal armor, a 120mm gun, and it seems to be a good spot for either tier 8 or tier 9.

There was apparently also a version with the "155mm SPAT Gun" <- Tier 9/10 material.

Seems like a good high tier for the upcoming British TD line, what do you think?

I believe it would be a little imbalanced as a premium. (It's from the 60's I believe)

The name doesn't sound british.  I don't doubt that it's a british tank but is that its real name?

Yes it is.

It was a project of the collaboration between German and British.

How do you decide if it sounds British sounding?  Lovely TD idea, tier 9 or tier 8.

I betcha the Jagdchieftain is going to be the tier 9 in the new British TD tree (AT 16 Tortoise at tier 8, and FV215b at tier 10).

Anything is possible... SerB stated over the weekend that there will be two full British TD lines. I forget the exact quote but one will be kind of assault based (leading to the Tortoise) and the other will be cruiser based.

It says it has CHOBHAM armour. I have no idea what it is, but I know it;s one of the things a tank in WoT can't have, along with a smoothbore gun and some other stuff.

Makes sense.

A line of "traditional" German-style no-turret TD's a la Torty and the Premie.

And a line of "American-Style" Turreted Up-gunned Cruisers a la the Challanger, Centaur, etc.

As for the tank in the OP, I would say the 70's is a little too modern for WoT.  Plenty of oddball tanks and experimentals that fit the timeframe of the game better.

Chobham armor? It sounded real neat up until that...

Probably has the L11A5 mounted, too.  :Smile_sad:
