In my 6.7K or so games thus far, I'm only solo pubbed without a premium account (have no mic, and don't have time during college to bother with a prem account). I joined a clan for the first time 3 days ago, just for the hell of it and was reading the clan rules. I keep seeing an "efficiency" being mentioned, and that a player must be, according to the clan rules, have an efficiency rating of 750+ to be a "soldier". Is efficiency the average amount of EXP obtained per battle?

Also, without a premium account, would 515 (my average exp ber battle) be considered bad, average, or good?

An efficiency rating of 1100 is average

Efficiency is an equation someone made up that heavily relies on your capture points and damage rates. It's not officially endorsed by WoT but many players use it to measure how they fare statistically when Win Rate can be clouded by luck and bad teams.

Just doing a quick glance at your stats. I'm 100% sure you're above 750 for efficiency.

Every player has an efficiency rating which is calculated based on what you do during a battle. Generally dishing out damage, spotting enemies and capping bases will increase your rating. You can find out your efficiency here: http://wot-news.com/stat/calc/en/ru

Keep in mind that there are new formulas which are more accurate than this one.

Let's put it this way... you've got nothing to worry about.

Go to the link below, choose "US" from the dropdown and input your name. Your efficiency is 1408 which is better than 90% of the playerbase.

Oh and btw, you can go to the main WoT webpage and use "Community"/"Player" to find out where you rate against the US player base -- in an overall stat sense.

Efficiency rating as an unofficial statistic calculated a number of different ways.  It takes into account average XP, hit ratio, K/D ratio, victory/defeat ratio, survival percentage, damage done, and other things.  From what I can see of your service record, you probably have a 1000+ efficiency score.

well if they judge people on their efficiency to be soldiers in the clan, then you would have to be the CO of the clan since you are better than 95% of the players in that clan lol

The best efficiency you can have is your attitude ingame and how mature you are.

Also efficiency rating is not that accurate, and easily padded.

What they said.   With stats like yours you could have gotten into a clan with better players if you had wanted to.

Check out noobmeter.com if you want a handy place to keep track of your stats.  There are several different skill ratings being used these days and Noobmeter has its own plus calculates other common ones, plus keeps track of your daily progress.

A suicide scout that dies in the first 30 seconds of the game will have a higher efficiency than someone who actually sticks around to kill enemy tanks. There are several ways to be "efficient" for more points that are of absolutely no use to anyone else on the team.
