Skirmishes 3, 4 and the current challenge boil down to the same damn thing. This is bad and you should feel bad.

This has been done before.
The only difference being that we're allowing more teams to participate. Since too many were left out last time around

How about some skirmishes that you don't have to have a premium account to play? Wouldn't that be be unique?

While the tiers are the same. if you bring 3 t29's on this map you will lose. There are a myriad of strategic options on this map, and the tiers provided give flexibility.
Kudos WG. This will be fun.

Not entirely true, this is an encounter, you could push up towards the cap while being hull down in t29's and force the enemy to come to you while you have eyes on the cap, and you have the option to cap yourself.
honestly there isn't another tier 7 than can go toe to toe with a gold spewing T29 and live to write home about it.

If you do this, any capable team will beat you 80% of the time. Not because of your tank, but because of the map itself.

Disagree, my team could drive nothing but loltractors backwards while shooting at each other and still not lose 80% of the time, have you seen how bad most of the teams that enter these skirmishes are?(granted this one will be harder than most because CW is down now and people will be looking for something to do)
Half of them have never played a skirmish, and the other half have never played a skirmish with the people on their tourney team. Very rarely will you see a tourney team that's made up of people that have platooned with each other day in and day out for 6 months to a year or more, this is an invaluable advantage in these 3v3 skirmishes, and it's how my team won the last 3v3 challenge, the longer the tourney went on and the stronger the competition got the better we did, crushing several tournament only clans (people with win rates in the mid 60's and eff's in the 1800-2100 range, obviously they were padded from TC's, but the point is that for such "elite" players they couldn't play together as one group for the life of them) without taking a single loss, and one hilarious time where a team mate solo'd all 3 enemies by himself in a Tiger P.
To me that's what wins these skirmishes, not how good the strategy you employed was, or what tanks you used, but how well you work together as one cohesive unit, and 90% of the tourney teams don't have that.

try this for more than one round against a capable team and you will get hammered by arty.
Good teams adapt. there is no one combination of tanks on this map that will consistantly be sucessful against non scrub opponents.
