Hard cap for all tanks to 4 per battle?

Whats good for the goose should be good for the gander as my gramma always use to say.

If arty is getting a hard cap then so should all tanks and Td's. Roving bands of single type tanks platoons should be also limited on the numbers of each tank type that can be allowed in a single match.

Im not talking about a tier limit just the number of each type of tanks,spgs and tds while in a match.

They say its all about balance. Well if that is so then all tanks, spgs plus tank destroyers should be hard capped to 4 or less per battle, platoon, company battle or clan wars.

Now that would be balance!

This would also make people that play alot together think more of what other tanks to use and BE MORE BALANCED.

Since this has always been a issue and the reason for buffs, nerfs. It would solve alot of issues in my opinion.

What do you all think?

I don't see it as a problem.  How often are you in a battle with more than 4 of any one given tank?  Why put in additional code to bog down matchmaker?

I do find it frustrating when one team has a platoon of 3 E100s, and the other team gets a platoon of 3 Batchats, but that is how it goes sometimes.

I just play.  I don't care how many of any kind of tank are on the field, I can adapt.

If the enemy team has nothing but AMX 40s, you're guaranteed to win!

Accually I did. Years ago while going to work I was T-boned by a drunk driver. Tore the front end right off my new car and put me in the hospital for over a month. The crash was so fast and hard the air bags never had a chance to deploy. The computer that runs the air bags, seatbelts and other safety systems was completely tore off my car along with the front end. Needless to say I was pretty messed up and required years of P.T. and many surgeries to repair the damage that was done to me.

Anyways, its funny how people cry about balance until it comes to the favorite tanks they use. Then they dont want to hear about it.

The last week of February I finally go in for my last surgery to repair my right shoulder. Which was broken and dislocated from the seat belt that failed durning the accident.

I noticed if you have more than 4  tds on your team for some reason you seem to have a high chance for a loosing match.

Maybe, guess Id have to keep track of that more to make call on it. Ive seen matches like that go etiher way. Just all depends on how good those players are while in tank destoryers.

I feel ya buddy, been dealing with similar for past 9 years after being T-boned in my Jeep by a Ford Exploder going 50+.  Spent nearly a month in the hospital and a year in bed.  Hit so hard that even though I was belted in I put a crease on the hood of it with my torso and arm after tearing through the soft door...

Now as far as your idea, I think this would be fair.

Actually this would simplify MM a lot so this argument is invalid ;)

Not even close. The reason that happens outside of platoons is because people have that tank qued up to fight. If you were to introduce a code that limits the amount of a tank to three or four a match, then you'll have a lot of angry people complaining, especially in tier one though four and even five fights all the way up to tier ten, due to long waiting times.

Believe he said Might Be Temporary until more numbers and the addition of mid tier artillery can be added. The same goes for the current nerfs to artillery. They can all be rolled back. Just all depends on how the new arty peices effect game play.

Anyways, the issue isnt just artillery. If you look back and see how many tanks have been nerfed and for the reasons. Most have been because they are overly played by a large population on W.o.T. The same will go for any tank, td, spg that is overly used or played now. A hard cap for all tanks, spgs and tds would really take care of alot of issues due to balance.
