Hi!
After all the bashing on noobs/camper/moron tankers, i just wanted to post something positive about PUB matches.
After 7K battles, I have seen fair amount of unselfish tankers out there
for example,
for every lemmings run, there is at least one session where someone will step up to the plate and say " hi, I will go with you and defend the other side"
for everytime you are out matched 3 to1, there is always times where your arty actually back you up and take out 2 of the 3 and even your odds.
for every time you are the slowest tank and someone gives you a push to the front line.
for everytime you are being circle by a fast medium when you are in a slow heavy, one of your fast medium come and help.
for everytime you have the 5 kills and your teammate says " hi! let this guy get the 6th kill!"
for everytime you find a group of tankers think like you do and your pack contribute to the final victory in a particular game.
For all these above are the reasons i keep on tanking - thank all of you tankers for putting your best foot forward!

That's not necessarily being a good tanker...that's just being a nice person.

I salute all good tankers that are better than me (read: many people). Thanks for saving my rear in multiple occasions.

I hear you! Past 2 days I've had....
A Type 59 and a fellow IS8 run with me as a silent fireteam that wiped the floor with the enemy team.
Was on Red River in my M18. Shared a brilliant flanking move with a Caern from the Templars. The two of us destroyed supporting tanks, then chummed the waters by throwing rounds broadside into the enemy spearhead. This started a feeding frenzy that collapsed the enemy front and won us the game.
Led a charge in my E100 around the light house in Cliff. Pair of American Tier 10's took positions on either side of me. We steamrolled over two IS8's and a Maus, then formed the other pincer with other center forces to completely dominate the center of the map. The team then moved as a single unit back to our base to deal with the guys who were trying to cap our base, then swept back like a wave to finish the last of their base defenses.
It is very awesome when teammates sense that a door has opened, and they charge through it guns blazing. Makes all those times where they stared at the opening blankly then did nothing seem worth it!

Basically, I want to know if I've earned jsnazz's gratitude or not. For what it's worth.

All of that is more common sense than good tanking.

yeah the most considerate tankers are the one's who let you have that last kill or the extra 10 invader pts

A "feel good" post! Nice! Thanks OP for reminding me of all the times I have seen the same things you point out. Sometimes it's easy to forget the good and remember only the total fails. +1 to you fellow tanker.
I know I've said "ty" to many a tanker that has helped me. But maybe this will prompt me to do that more often (assuming the situation fits of course).
