that's pretty good Imperator. Sketchup is a tricky mistress to manage.

Try searching for models in the model library and importing them. Giganaut has a slew of them loaded on there which can be fun to have a mess about with. I always find the tracks just the most time consuming part of everything so even if I just download the model and delete the rest save for the tracks it saves a lot of time just building model into the tracks. Sketchup is such an awesome tool I have barley begun to scratch the surface of everything you do with it.

what i did  for the tracks is i cut them out of main body and then shaped them to how there supposed to look. finally i copy pasted the tracks and scaled them smaller. i then put them on top of each other i and pushed it back to get the outline.

the track parts did take forever though(besides the rivits)

i dont even know how i made that only knowing that the front slope is 35 degrees going into it. although after i was done
i scaled it to what a source said was the length (7.25mx3mx2.44m)

also did giaunaut upload the p26/40? i want to play around with it, make the P43
ill upload it now'
EDIT****
my sketchup is being dumb and not letting me login(i put in the right stuff and it does nothing)

knowing me i put in the 88mm L71. everything here is the real size
take in acount that on the drawing supposedly its a 90/53 gun
Posted Image
now look at it with the 88mm L71(ignore the 90/53 barrel behind it, it isnt side by side)
Posted Image
i think the original drawings depict the 90/71
now look at the 88mm L71 with out the muzzle break... tell me it doesnt look like the pic
Posted Image
ladies and gentalmen i give the strongest ordance used on tanks of the entire italian forces
EDIT**** another point i can make is that the 90/53 is a double piece barrel not the multi piece shown in the schematic

as well that the 90/53 is 2.2m shorter then the P43.bis, but the gun on the drawing is about the same length of the tank

oh by the way u said it i thought voketton created a new one.
as for it being "realisitic" theres nothing here we havent admited its fake when its fake (90/71 on P43.bis, although the quesion i brought up with the designs might change that,TD tier 10. besides that cant think of much else)
(that wasnt a bash at you. just so readers know that were not making up horse-hockey on the spot)

Not fake ≠ realistic. As soon as reality comes anywhere near Vollketten's tree, it crumbles.

Just because certain people here can't see the forest for the trees doesn't mean it wouldn't crumble if someone actually decided to be realistic about the tree.

is this a fact or opinion u guys tell me...."A better case can be made for it being a medium tank. While it was started as a heavy support tank, it was redesigned several times, culminating in the current version of the P.26/40, which was meant to be Italy’s main battle tank on with its contemporaries the T-34, M4 Sherman, and Pz.Kpfw. IV. Its successors, the P.43 and P.43bis are also compared to the Panther, and indeed there’s a picture showing such. As to his tree, what Vollketten is failing to mention about his tree is that his entire medium, heavy and SPG lines are dependent on foreign vehicles, and that his TD line is not only stretched out way ahead of where it should be, but is entirely dependent on fictional vehicles. Basically as soon as reality ends up anywhere near Vollketten’s Italian tech tree, the whole thing crumbles. For instance, his Tier 7 and 8 mediums, the Panther and M26 Pershing, actually weigh more than his Tier 7 and 8 heavies, the P.43 and P.43bis. His Tier 9 and 10 heavies, are the M48 and M60. one third of his SPG line are US arties, culminating in an Italian modified M109. His TD line has the Semovente M42L (or M43 as the Italians started a new designation) 105/25 as a Tier 8 TD and an entirely fictional vehicle as the Tier 10. The whole thing is a mess."some is fact BUTdoes wieght matter, have things changed and will thy change(Probably).

i feel bad for your wife (if you have one) you seem like the type of guy that its his way or the highway based on judgmental conclusions in your mind.

so with that my heart goes out to her and im done with you

goodbye have a nice morning
