I don't know what is written but it looks like chalk and the corner guns are absent.

More Fiat logos and the camouflage:

the chalk says DHE Piave, DHE must be a acronym for the unit type and Piave is a very common unit name in the italian army
and the bottom pic says FIAT

I tired to make it larger and it looks like DHL or DAL (with a round topped 'A')

THANKS,
It says (google translated) Dal Piave.
Piave is a town in Italy, so it reads "From the Piave"
the two crooked decals are Fiat
So it could say "From the Piave, Fiat" or just "From the Piave"
I like the smaller Fiat decals (shown above) better than the larger ones.
It gives the enemy a smaller guided bullseye, to a otherwise low profiled vehicle :teethhappy:
I agree with you, this tank has to be in the game. It meets all the criteria, and even if it didn't, I fully support bringing in all the WWI era tanks. There's enough 600m x 600m maps that would fit these tanks just fine. One of the disappointments I've had with this game was when I found out the Liberty tank was removed from the American tech tree.

You don't have to translate the whole thing. Just give me a summarized version of what happened. This isn't that important, so translate it when you aren't busy.
   Thanks.

* fixed the size of the picture of the helmet on post #968. It looked too Spaceballish
Well this happened in spain on march 11 in 1938 the tank crew drove the tank off the bridge to kill engineers trying to blow the bridge (so this was part of a offense movement) This is were it gets confusing, it says he was helping someone or something called "Oliete" do a strafing run and when the bomb hit the enemy combatants (this part is a guess) the enemies smashed his  right hand off. after he killed the wagon (probably a tank or car of sorts) that was chasing him he made it back to a rally point were he was waving his blown off limb in victory. and when he was lifted off his tankette he was given "cold Stoicism" (didnt know what that was or what it means). He then said to everyone that was praising him "any tanker would have done the same". after he was done being treated and the battle was over he was seen smoking a cigarette impassively, which was what he asked for in reward of his actions. thats the whole thing

ahem: (this as well?)
It is a study of number plates and manufacture of Italian military vehicles
http://www.targheita...io_esercito.pdf and this
http://www.targheita...io_esercito.pdf
Both of these could be vital documents as they list exact numbers and nomenclatures of vehicles in service. Looks very promising. (Definitely includes some new vehicles such as M3A3 Stuart and Panzer IIIG)

The motion-machine gun is a small armoured vehicle that is manned by one man and carries one or two armarmants and its ammunition.

the vehicle is able to go on more that just roads it proformed very well on land plots with very steep hills. because of 2 independant track propulsion the tank is easily steerable.
the tank is made up of 3 parts
1) the hull armour
2) the 2 independant motor propulsions
3) the armarment

the hull is made up of sheets of metal that are assembled together (the metals used in the examples are weak and stainless steel the real metal has not been decided yet) the metal is bonded in corners and by nails to make the box. the diminsions od the designs are in blueprints N. 7073, 7074

the thicknesses of the various sheets, are stability in fashion to obtain a frontal protection against projectiles. perforating Mauser SMK with impact angle of 90 degrees at 50 meters, and side protection against the pull of the rifle mod.91 under the same conditions.

over the thickness adopted, small size and elusive form, this creates a harder target wich creates more effecient armour.

the hull and open posteriorment and partially down to allow the driver-gunner to take shelter inside while driving, and be well enough protected.

the upper part of the hull and temporarily closed by a door hinge that through a specific sector and lock button may take various opening position to allow the driver to walk upright or nearly so, while remaining protected frontally and laterally, thanks to the side flaps of the door (world of tanks first transformer tank :P)
