The maximum experience for one battle, is only gauged by victories. I recently had a tank gain more EXP on a defeat(2000) and a draw(2300) than I did on a victory(thanks teams!). Has anyone noticed this already? I could not find anything in the forums on this issue. Its a problem that would be nice to see fixed, but I'm sure it would require to much work for it to ever be changed.

lets see 2000xp on defeat or 2300 on a draw. i wont believe it until i see it.
maybe u got that 1000xp bonus for topgun or such?

Probably a medal bonus, like the current event w/ 1250xp from defender, a common medal on losses. That XP isnt recorded in your tank statistics (it will not be your maximum for that tank unless the base XP was higher).

I got a defender last night on a win. It was epic. (and a lot of exp!!!)

but yeah.... defender is usually a "nice tryhard, you lose anyway"

my guess too.

I'll have to look when I get home, I think the highest xp ever non-daily double/triple/quintiple for me on my M10 Wolverine was the 759xp in the "argh moment" screen cap in my profile.  Had 4 medals that match (a loss with 8 kills)

I shot the lights out in a recent loser and got the highest xp for either team. The winners had a balanced score as almost all had kills/dm. My team couldn't find their way out of the closet. 4 kills, 7dm, 3 spotted, 2dm on spotting(arty shots) 19 for 21 shots fired and I did it in a Stug, no medals.

Seems as if, I should probably read the news on the home page more often .... lol

On both games I received the defender award.

The accounting for rewards is indeed very screwy and some tanks such as the Panther or T 50-2 you play at a loss win or especially lose.I have a premium account.But is it I have killed a couple of tanks aand ran all over being scout or Team Plyer and lost 7000 Ponts!!!! TYG

Not screwy, working as intended. Starting at Tier 7 (or end tier lights like the T-50-2) repair and ammo costs start to heavily eat into your profits.

This is encourage to buy a premium account/tank, or to run lower tiers to make credits, in order to keep the lower tiers populated.

What if the base is higher. Say I got 2100 exp base +1250 = 3350 exp, and my previous max is 2000 exp. Do I end up with 2100 as the new max exp or 3350?

Event bonuses do NOT factor in to 'highest XP' numbers on the tank stats.  However premium DOES factor.

Sounds like an event bonus on top of a good individual performance. I registered 2350 exp or so in a draw yesterday.  While scratching my head about it (my damage, 4051, and kills, 4, were good, but not fantastic) I noticed that I had a 1250 bonus to exp. for getting Defender.  That is likely what happened with you also.

My first battle in a T28 last night resulted in a loss where I got 7 kills, 3rd class mastery, sniper, top gun, reaper, sharpshooter & master gunner, but I didn't crack 700 XP.  I am not on a premium account so that's part of it, I understand.

2300 in a draw with no bonuses would be almost 3500 for a win, nonprem. That's pretty high, like killing practically everything yourself.
