Hello,
This may have been asked before. I am not sure.
We can join our friends in the same game by making a platoon, but as far as I know, there is not a sure fire way to join the same match, but be on opposite sides.
Most of my friends have a blast when we manage to go head to head against each other. unfortunately, this is done by a hit and miss countdown.
What do you all think about having a check box or radio button that you can select while you are in a platoon that would ensure you play against your friends? ... or enemies.
radio Button to play against friends

The only way I've found to get lucky doing this is to try and hit battle at the same time. I don't think they'll implement this though because it would cause experience boosting and people would give away enemy locations and such. Just too much room for unfair play

I think it would be awesome... but you would have the problem of some dumb kids will have a gaming party and tell each other where the other teams location is so that they can ninja arty them or take advantage of week spots. :(

While I would like this too, it is too easilly abused. Want to run your win rate up, have an enemy platoon sabotage their team (numerous ways they can do it, the easiest is using voice chat to give locations).

Or, you can do a Training battle.

As others have said, they likely won't implement a specific versus mode any other way since that creates a large number of ways to game the system. The benefit to limiting it to training battles is that you still have to pay for your ammo (but not your repairs), and you don't get any XP or credit income.
IE: you still need some credits, though potentially not as many, and you can't game the system to create a desired outcome for one player/team (can't farm your friends for credits/XP).

I have to agree with skcuf and envy here, i love the idea, but there is way too much room for unfair play

The vast majority of people who use this function will be to add their alt account(s) on the opposing team who sits afk while the main's team wins. Terrible idea, we have enough bots/afkers as it is.
