Thank you sir!

It means sometime between then, and the end of the world.

Considering it hasn't even been 24 hours, I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic or you just wanted everyone not to give you a serious answer

Shortly = soon; within or after a short time; quickly or without much delay... etc.

'Shortly' can be a few days.

"A few days" can be after the thing in question starts.

Well lets see the last "offical" word was the event would start in les the 24 hours. Its been in the plains for months, they posted it last week, then Monday the changes begin. Surely we can react and plan on little to know notice, look how well they did with weeks and months! :)

please forgive spelling

No I was being serious.

I am NOT trying to drum up antagonistic responses at all.

Phase One
Phase One will run for a short period of time and is themed around a "land grab" of four major provinces in the United States. These provinces will act as the only landing zones during the Unclaimed Glory event. Phase One will begin at 07:00 PST on January 24, 2013 and will end at 23:00 PST on January 24, 2013. Use this handy Time Zone Converter to find out what time this starts in your region.

Considering it still states it starts tomorrow I think my question is VERY valid.

Thank you!

I'm pretty sure he means as soon as Moscow tells them, which should be this morning/Moscow probably sent over instructions over the night, and once they get into the office this morning they'll write up the article and send it out (it's 8:11am out west).

It's been moved to Friday afaik. but yes, an official thread would help.

OP is correct he has a valid question, and one most of us have as well, if we admit the truth. This has been in the planing for months but after the fire strom of complaints from the land owning clans, they decided to make last minute changes. Changes do in a knee jerk way at the last minite are always ill avised and often bad.

Please forgive spelling,

PS it is after 8:00 am the day before a major event that is still not stettled, some stay late and get in early would be nice.

Well I Would have thought they had all of yesterday to chat about this and come up with some news.

That post was Midnight Moscow time just before 1AM in Moscow January 23rd. It is now 8PM or 20:00 HRS in Moscow and the whole day is gone.

So with the event supposed to start in less than 24 hours it is a fair question.

Thank you for your time.

The fact the event is supposed to start tomorrow does not make your point very valid because it is the morning before.  If you would have some patience WG will post an update today sometime.

Well we missed the end of the world, so that screws the whole "Time Continuem" thingy....
