So....I have only twice. But its very helpful. I text the site with the SMS option to pay. When I say yes it Charges 10 bucks to my phone bill and i get 1,320 gold. Because the limit cap is only 20 bucks a month i just do this twice. I think 2,700 gold transfers into 30,000 free xp or 30,000. I THINK. I dont remember.
So my question is.... is this wrong?

In a word, DUMB..........................................
Not trying to be rude but racing up the tech tree into the higher tiers, and yes I have looked at your stats and tanks driven, will result in you becoming a poorer player instead of a better one.
"Oh my god......so by the first of next month i could have a Panther AND T29? LIFE IS GOOD"
Yup you could and then you will be back on these forums complaining about how these tanks stink. The Panther is dead mean "In the right hands" but is a royal pain for someone whom has NOT spent the time to learn how to drive tanks in the lower tiers. In this game you cannot buy your way to stardom by getting higher tier tanks, you have to earn it on the battlefield by following the steep learning curve in this game.

For the panther, playing the lower mediums does help but i feel the T29 playstyle differs a bit from the M6 and T1.

Not completely on topic but it's related so..........
Has there ever been a special on free xp conversion? I'm guessing no, but I know we have some "graybeards"
on here from beta who would have the game age to answer. TIA.

I recommend using free xp to avoid playing tanks stock, but not to bypass them entirely. The exception being lower tier tanks that have tons of modules that don't carry over to higher tiers.

For 15 dollars on a credit card you'll get 3000 gold. The system you've picked is incredibly less efficient then just paying directly.

Getting a bad exchange rate. The $15 option is 200 gold per dollar, the $10 phone option is 132 gold per dollar. If I remember right you can get 6500 gold for $30, or about 217 gold per dollar. $30 once is the same as you were talking about spending total on the phone and you would have a lot more gold.
I do not recommend converting xp to free experience with gold, very expensive. Or converting gold to credits. But if you have the money, its up to you.

Converting XP has its value if you can bankroll it, credits is a complete waste. 50 gold for 200k when you can knock that much out in like 2-3 59 games.

I don't recall ever seeing an XP conversion special. Credit conversion, yes.
As far as the practice itself, I find that gold to credits is horribly wasteful and inefficient. You can easily earn credits by buying a premium tank, or just playing mid tiers. That way, you only spend gold once, and can make credits forever.
XP conversions are a different animal. You can use doubles and your already elited tanks to gain XP quickly, and convert it much more quickly than you can on a stock tank. It is great for avoiding stock syndrome, or getting to a new tank quickly. Of course, you can always stockpile free XP the traditional way. As was said before, it's a balance between what we think is a good deal, and what WG can charge.
One note for the OP: Never use free XP to unlock the next tank. Use the tank you have, which already has good equipment researched, to work your way to the next tank. That way, once you have the next tank, you can use that free XP to research a few modules, so you aren't stuck driving a stock tank.

To each his own, I played this game in everlasting grind mode, and after a while it seems as if you are just spinning your tracks and not making progress. And for you Stats hounds take note, I play this game for fun.
