This part confusing me :/
So, I can't put more than 1 battle per e-mail and 1 e-mail a day?

#4 Posted Jan 25 2013 - 21:17
#5 Posted Jan 25 2013 - 21:18
Lastly, do I add the points from the achievements to my xp total after I calculate the xp?

You (or another mod) mentioned before that the `art of war contest` was a test of a new ability of WG for that kind of special, any idea when we will see another contest like it?
(Edit, Never mind...found the other thread)

So we're allowed to submit once per day, or what?
#12 Posted Jan 25 2013 - 21:39
Questions:
1) Can you submit one entry for both casual and hardcore and in each tier category (for a total of 6 entries) or is each day a different competition like last year (42 max entries)?
2) What's the actual scoring rubric for both casual and hardcore? most XP like last year's casual category or most MVP points, or hybrid (like last year's hardcore)?
2a)How do we combine the MVP points and XP score for the hardcore category?
3) How do the prizes work? Do both casual and hardcore winners get the physical goods, but only hardcore winners get the additional gold?
4) How will winners in multiple categories be handled?
Why not just do the screenshot in a post system like last year? I think a lot of people liked that system, and ppl don't have to worry about their emails being lost. And for the love of god, why do these start the instant they're announced when every time we have to get repeated clarifications? Glad to see the black tom mvp return.

So if that's once again going to be a "rule", maybe you should list it in the contest rules.

1) Can you enroll in both casual and hardcore?
2) Can you enroll into all 3 tier sections?
3) can you combine 1 and 2 together, thus enrolling into 6 sections? Can you do it with the same games?
Also, do achievements hold no value for the casual section? So causal winners will be decided by simply who got most XP?

"To calculate your XP:
If you have a premium account: Total XP/15 = XP points.
If you have a standard account: total XP earned/10 = XP points
Remember to divide by 2 if you earn double XP."
Don't mind me.
Last year it specified it was for each day. I assume it is the same for this year, but can't find where it specifically says it.

As it was for the last I would say:
1) yes
2) yes
3) yes
And yes, casual is just raw XP.
It does says you can send battles to both casual and hardcore and to all categories. You just cant use the same battle for casual and hardcore.

We are making the article more clear. You are allowed to submit one battle per each of the 3 tier groups, and in both categories.

Battles must take place during the event. If you have more then 3 medals you can add all of them.

Spotted and Damaged Tanks do not count as an achievement. You get 1 point each tank that you spot. And you add those MVP to your EXP score after you have adjusted it by diviiding by 10 or 15.

One entry per tier group per category. Not one per day.

1) 6 entries total please see above
2) Casual is the most XP, Hardcore is the great value when you XP score and MVP points are combined..
2a) Get your final Xp score (divided by 10 or 15 depending if you have a premium account or not), and then add your MVP points to that.
3) Exactly
4) You can win in multiple categories, and get the prizes in multiple categories.

The rules have be update to reflect that you do indeed need to play your battles during the dates of the event.
