this is for the birds my clan was 26 in application and we do not make the tournament?  We are losing people as we speak because it is getting late.  No info no answers?  What an imbalanced tournament and first tournament kickoff for the new Clan wars.

I wasted real money on this event and did not get in. I do not  play tier 3s at all. waste of my time  to buy tier outfit it practice for nothing, thanks W.O.T.

this is obviously the reason details were kept as vague as possible leading up to the event! Think of how many people used gold for crews for ammo to get ready for tonight!

Dear sucker, you can apply tomorrow as well this is not 1 night only.

I never said it was a "1 night only" event, I only was saying to those that purchased gold and tier 3 for this and did not get in, "welcome to WOT and how it's run" .

Definately Displeased with this Wargaming Event....   (and its only the FIRST night....)
Its certainly not the first time Many Clans & Players have felt screwed in a well publicized Event, and likely not the last either.....   Indeed...Plenty of people worked VERY hard to "rise to the event"  in practice, upgrades, and grinding thier crew skills....  and waited patiently..... only to be blown off and left hangin in the breeze.

Which tier tomorrow?  maybe you can be more sensitive to what is very frustrating to  most of the WoT community.

Fox that guy  seems to be one of W OT's famous butt  kissers, huh!

This is sad and pathetic. Preferential treatment to players and clans was in very poor distaste and truly pathetic that you would treat all these other players that line the bank accounts of those that run this. This is what is called fraud. You will never recieve a single penny from ever again.

Very disappointed in WG's lack of foresight on this one.  Can't believe they screwed over so many players who altered their plans for a chance at North America.  Boo on you WG fix your mistake and give us back our chips.

I have put in a support ticket as well as commented in these forums and no one form WOT has spoken to the central issue - some of the larger clans that have moderators working for WOT that got a heads up on the portal opening sooner than planned and therefore were assured at a spot to compete.

I will say the outcome probably would not have been any different and congrats on the 3 clans in their success.

I will add that I do not understand if WoT had a 64 clan limit per landing, why not just have a regular tournament which is not limited to 64 teams, or limit each clan to one landing or another idea, random selection of all those that applied.

Being new to all this, I now see and understand why some are so butt hurt. And before you go and say I'm "butt hurt" I play Wot for fun and enjoyment. I enjoy the competition, (in most cases) and since I use my own gold I'm not dependent on a clan (for gold as some are) even though I'm in a clan.

Yet, after all I've heard about this latest action, I'm not surprised, since it appears WoT is just for entertainment and unlike the real world where one is held accountable for their actions, Wot is not. So this should really come as no surprise to many.

This is not the central issue and is a completely bogus claim, and not a single "larger" clan have active moderators working for WoT.

The central issue is that there was only 4 landings and 64 spots per landing available to just over 1000 clans. It was a grievous error on their part to have the landings open sooner then expected but the exact same issues would have occurred either way, the only difference would have been which 750+ clans got left out.

There is still another 2 weeks of Clan Wars using the exact same tier 3 format across 8 landings and the rest of the currently open NA map, so plenty of time to give your T3 tanks some matches.

Just a side note, there are post regarding this in the news section that are official Wargaming, I wouldn't expect them to respond directly to this thread - especially since it is in the incorrect forum and there are plenty of duplicates all over the place.
