You heard me. :Smile_teethhappy:  We should have all the trains on the maps with trains moving. To add a little more danger, and to increase raging. If you hit the moving train on your side of the map, you will have to pay for any goods damaged in the collision, and ditto if you hit it with gunfire. Trains on the enemies side of the map are fair game.  :Smile_great:

Though, in all seriousness, it would be nice to see the trains receive a little physics treatment. I am tired of seeing my 50 ton steel behemoth plow into a train car and receive no damage, and have the train car not budge. Implement train physics. And maybe a moving train in the background at least.

Train physics I like, but not moving trains. Why would a train be moving in the middle of a war-zone?

Btw, I like trains.

I like trains. But I don't think it would make sense to have them moving. Unless they make a word of wartrains and have trains with 200mm artillery guns. XD That sounds like a pretty fun game actually.................

Well trains were used to supply troops and the like.

I like the idea, it would be pretty funny to see some idiot get hit by the train as well.

I would be the one to park on the tracks in my Stug and be destroyed by a train.

I think moving war trains would be interesting (they could be destroyed by tank fire, being derailed by ramming, etc.) but probably a little hard to implement (are they AI, a 16th player, what?) and IRL they had to pretty much shoot within ten degrees of the tracks on either side (assuming we're talking about railguns and not flatbed cars mounted with 57mm AT guns). Interesting for sure but iffy on the execution I think. Also, having a moving civilian train in a warzone is not something that this game needs, plus, damaging goods on the train? The fines for an accidental paint scratching are already bad enough, civies=bad idea.

Or make it were we smash into them instead of stopping us at our tracks

This discussion brings me back to my childhood. Anybody watch Thomas the Tank Engine (original British version) as a child?

Yes! I watched it here recently for nostalgias sake, and realized Ringo Star narrated several episodes  :Smile_amazed: . Also, I now am into HO scale model trains, which are what I think was used to film the series. Childhood memories are a dish best served with new found flavor.
