So we are supposed to maintain 75% attendance during superbowl, while at the same time as skirmish 5.
Awesome!

20 man teams? Meaning you need to make sure you find that many people with no lives holy cow? I understand clans pulling an all day tourney as 100 people but 20 man, wheeew that's insane WG, good luck to anyone who can find that many no lifers.

Edit:OMG during the superbowl ahhahhahahah!

BUT u can win 100 FREAKING GOLD PER member or even more if you want to shoot tanks during the HARBOWL!  Ah u got an edit in...lmao

Can SOMEONE please take the darn shovel out of WG's hands...I can't even see the bottom of the hole now.

The odds of one clan winning it through are insane..... so just out of dumb LUCK one of those 'training' clans might nd up with the land for a day, it would be taken, and squash their hopes forever of getting land again unless they have teir 10's. Fine by me lol, but its not even worth it for the 100 gold payouts lol. Why cant 10's be the normal?? Ill tell you why... WG wants the little clans to have a chance at something. If they want to have a chance, they need to teir up, and WG really should stop catering to the requests like lower teir CW and of 13 year olds crying that arty is OP.... Get behind a fucking rock! i didnt think it was too hard to drive with arrow keys. Get a 10, or stop whining.  :Smile-angry:

So given the announcement that the NA ClanWars map will be reset and the Americas event restarted, can one assume that this tourney is about awarding the gold and medal for New York, and once that's done the map will be wiped so the winning clan should not expect anything with respect to NA CW ownership?

If this was your "magic fix" for the unclaimed glory event, than this is a XXXXXX disaster.

Guess it's time to start forgetting about tanks and move on to something better.

wait wait, so a clan can ONLY submit ONE team?
is that correct?

I don't think there's a restriction on the number of teams that one clan can field.

A magic fix for clan wars would not be something that has nothing to do with clan wars.

Yeah, I'm gonna echo what's already been said because it's a very valid concern: having the finals on Super Bowl Sunday is a poor, poor choice.

I would recommend moving the competition up one day to start on Thursday evening. The first day's events only take place from 9 - 11 EST which isn't completely unreasonable for most people on a night before work, and you'll have more people able to commit to teams since they'll know they'll be there for the finals.

No mate, you just leave it to your "leadership" to get some patsys to throw the match in your lap, like happened last weekend, and the whole community is now watching on youtube  :Smile_teethhappy:

Yet another person that has no clue what really happened. 1 video shows the entire story doesn't it?

Fair enough, but super bowl Sunday? And shouldn't WGA be working on fixing CW instead of throwing up clan tourney during a skirmish on one of the busiest US days of the year?

My forehead is red from the number of times WG has made me /facepalm in the last week.  I don't understand how playing goofy tier 3s benefit any type of player...good, average, or bad.  Wow, you even set the finals to play during the Super Bowl...great planning and thought process +1.

Are there any gold consumables that I can buy that will clean the month-old dust off my tier 10 tanks/tds used in Clan Wars?

The event was made for those waiting on Clan Wars to restart. The format allows teams to practice for the reopening and also have a chance to win the medal that wasn't given out. the finals do not overlap the Super Bowl (we made sure of that). If this event isn't something that appeals to you then you may not have been the target for the event. To be clear the CW event will restart, this is just something you can participate in if you wish to do so.

But it really DOES overlap. The trouble comes because people don't just stop what they're doing, watch the game on their own, and then go back to what they were doing. It is very common for people to have PARTIES and either have a bunch of people over all day or be a guest at their own friend's home. All day.

So what you are saying is, when CW resumes, the event is going to be tier 3 bullshit all over again?
