Howdy Guys,

We got all these new Chinese tanks flooding in, that i have neglected my UK grind...

spent yesterday plugging away at both my Comet and Black Prince...

Had a few decent battles i wanted to share:

Victory! Map: Fjords Monday, January 28, 2013 11:42:19 PM
Vehicle:: Black Prince
Exp: 2,206 (x2) + Credits: 33,159 (Standard Account)
Achievements: : Steel Wall

7K Credits... what a joke.

Still a good battle, note the T29 battle..
looks like hes not the only one with a great turret

===================================

Victory! Map: Widepark Tuesday, January 29, 2013 1:04:40 AM
Vehicle:: Black Prince
Exp: 1,177 + Credits: 26,712 (Standard Account)

Slowly but surely grinding my way to the Tier 8...

helping my team as best i can in a battle with Tier 9s.

===================================

Victory! Map: Cliff Wednesday, January 30, 2013 12:26:38 AM
Vehicle:: Comet
Exp: 2,424 (x2) + Credits: 23,025 (Standard Account)

Sometimes your heavies need a little encouragement to get off their ass and fight.

The BP is a meatshield that can still kill people by poking them to death.

It's a grind because although it is pretty good, it's so slow that it just isn't fun... like at all.

The Tier 8 med UK is one of my favorites. It doesnt excel at anything but it is very well rounded
Great gun, great maneuverability.

Tier 7 British grind is horrible...that is exactly where I am in the tech tree. The BP isn't too bad. Although it only has a pop-gun, it has armor, and can take a beating and tie up other tanks for a while. If the BP is top tank in the battle, it can usually do pretty well. On the other hand, the Comet could very well be the worst Tier 7 in the game. It's essentially a Cromwell with more HP, but has less speed and gets a tier higher MM...same armor, same gun, but it's too slow to flank and/or circle like the Cromwell can, so it's essentially pretty ineffective at just about everything.

Good luck, I feel your pain!

I love the black prince. Love the firepower and its armor. And as it is with every tank i love, i suck at it rolf. But i still love it.

Common engagement with a Black Prince from an IS, T-29, Tiger P and Tiger H perspective.
1st shot: "Eh? did that shot me? nvm"
2nd shot: "he shot me again... well..."
-Shot backs and bounce-
3rd shot: "wtf he dont get he is not doing damage?"
-Shots back and bounce
4th shot: "Now shut it already!"
-Shots back and bounce-
6th shot: "HOW MANY RELOADERS THAT BS HAS?!?!?!"
-Shots back and bounce-
7th shot: "ARTY SHUT DOWN THAT BLACK PRINCE I NEED HEEEEELP"
8th shot: "QQ"

I've seen the BP often enough to know I want one but the tier 6 grind is horrible.

I quite like the Cromwell, I've had a couple of decent games in it although I really have to stop trying to ram everything small in it.

Problem I have is with the Church 7.  MM doesn't do me many favours as invariably I'm in Tier 8 games but it's just not a very interesting tank to play, it doesn't bounce as many as the BP, obviously it's slow and the pea shooter it has as a main gun is a big come down from the likes of the VK3601 H or the 1S.

With more people knowing their weak spots, I can see why people aren't huge fans of the British line.

The Comet is the best Tier VII medium tank in the game, bar none. There's a reason why it was one of the only tanks used by good teams in the Nordwind Challenge other than the T29 spam. It has extremely high DPM for a Tier VII medium, great accuracy, it's the fastest of them all, it has great turret armour, and it has very good gun depression, and no glaring weaknesses. People like to whine about its penetration, but the penetration is pretty standard for a Tier VII medium. Compared to the Cromwell, it might seem a little disappointing at first, but that's because the Cromwell is ridiculous. Compare it to other Tier VII medium tanks, and you will see it stands out.

You may have had DEMI on your team, but that Conq. wasn't all that sharp.  He sat up next the the railroad with his side exposed, thus giving your team some clear shots into him.  Seeing him not using his gun depression properly, all I could do is shake my turret in shame.  (I was the one in the KV-3 in Widepark)

i need to learn to forgive and forget...

they had just caused several losses for me yesterday and made me notice them.

Very true about the Conqueror though..

and were you the KV-3 that i bounced a shot off the turret?

Yep, that was me.  The other KV-3 camped in the NE corner of the map.  After disposing of the Lorr. 155 50 (had a major hate-on for him shooting me), was gonna try to flank ya, but a T34 got me instead.
