I wish I had the replay. I turn off my internet browser when I play to get FPS up to 10 where I don't see lag so I don't have replays on as that would divert system resources away from the game. But I have a few games I wished I had replays on for. Had one where I sniped the hell out of an IS, KV-3, KV-1S, Jumbo Sherman and dealt 2,400 damage in Tier 7 match using my M6. Got 3 good shots on the side of the KV-3 and set it on fire. 1k damage exactly, and the 2,400 damage was the most out of either team.If the op is still wondering if these are good tanks. They are amazing. Fast mobile powerful guns. The Gun depression lets it peak over hills and shoot down or look up and take out a tank thats climbing a hill long before it can even aim down. Also they are both suprisingly good at hiding. I put camo paint and a camo net on M6(haven't bought a third equpment for my M6 yet so figure having a net is better than having no equipment) So many games where I can sit down and snipe and they have to get with in around 150 m of me to spot me firing.

Replay files are so small they shouldn't represent much of a drain on system resources.

I just got through the T1 Heavy last night. I have to say it was a pleasant surprise. The armor is solid. The gun is okay. But what really made this tank enjoyable for me was the engine. That 960 HP engine really makes a difference,

I did not like driving the KV1 despite its better armor and gun because it was too slow. Once committed to a side you really couldn't shift somewhere else or even RTB depending how far you were. The T1 Heavy can, easily. I even outclimbed a sherman to the top of the hill on Himmelsdorf.

The gun is great for beating up T5 or lower. You usually don't need to aim for weakspots and the rapid ROF tears everything up. Even KV'1s weren't too hard to deal with head on as long I as was close enough to aim for weak spots. And with my bigger engine I could easily push them around if need be.

I played in 71 games in the T1 and got a 67% win rate with 100 kills and the Ace Tanker. So overall I was pleased with the tank. I didn't keep it, but it was a very enjoyable play-through.

The M6 is another issue. I'm still grinding through it and the M1AX guns just do not cut it when you get into T7 and T8 games (at least on a heavy tank). I've been getting really unlucky seeing a lot of T8 games too. Its not fun. Despite weighing the same the M6 feels much more sluggish than the T1 did for some odd reason.

Hopefully the 90mm will change all this though. I usually find even subpar or crappy chassis are redeemed by a good gun. The 90mm appears to look good on paper but I haven't fired it yet. I'm grinding it out both on the M6 and the M18.

The armor on the M6 does seem much better though. I had an amusing game where 2 KV1S's fully upgraded were too scared to rush my lone self around a corner and I managed to bounce 4 shots between the two of them off my hull. Eventually they realized they were being stupid and rushed me though.

Just my 2 cents.

I didn't like the M6 when I first got it because of the gun.  I'm still playing it but I have now unlocked everything and am working to unlock the T29.  Ever since I got the 90 this has been a very fun tank to play.  The 90 does some damage but it doesn't take all day to reload and is accurate.  It's nice to actually be able to damage tanks I have been going up with tier 5s and haven't been able to touch.  This and the KV1S are the highest two tanks I have right now.  Of the two I prefer the M6 and I almost want to keep it.  If I don't I'll keep the crew in the event I want to go back to this tank.

M6 is insane good vs tier6 tanks a bit sucks vs t7. It actually overperforming  in my hand I played 90 battle and have 66% win ratio 4 top gun (2 radley-walter). If u angle ur armor even kv1s can bounce it but vs t5 tank almost inpenetrable in front.

Yeah im sorta in your camp, despite a slow start with the M6 76mm I ended up with about a 55% win ratio as the win rate picked up hugely with the 90mm. I certainly underrated the 90mm before I used it in the M6, it's aim time and reload are just so much better than it's Russian analogues and they usually come at you with so much confidence, I generally fared worse against the German mediums like the 3601 and 3001h as they can flank an M6 and both the Konish and the 88 tear the M6 up.
With the T1 and the M6 I went in expecting the worst (as they were always juicy targets for me from the other side) and came out with positive W/R with both of them so to sum things up I'd say

Are they good vehicles?  Are they worth it compared to their German and Soviet counterparts?  They seem to be decent vehicles, but the T1 heavies large frame, weak sides, and low alpha dont seem to make it as fun as a KV-1.  The M6 is apparently on par with a T-150, a tank which is widely considered okay, but not good.  Does anyone else have a second opinion on this?

I picked up the T1 Heavy earlier tonight.  So far, after playing 7 games, my record is 4-3 (obviously, it's too soon to tell how I'll perform over the long term), and I have two Steel Walls and an Ace tanker badge already.  It seems fairly easy to drive, not requiring much in the way of technique.  It won't stand up to higher-tier shots but in tier-5 games its armour is very strong.  Biggest weakness is actually those damned M4 HEAT derps which can 2-shot you, but that will be fixed in 8.6.

But let's face it, people only play the T1 Heavy and M6 so they can get to the T29.  Still, so far it's a fairly enjoyable tank to drive, and I don't even have the top engine yet, and I'm not even running a 100% crew.  Fully upgraded with a 100% crew, this tank should be a beast: less armour than the KV-1 but far more mobility, and better penetration on its main gun.

Also remember your frontal armor beat's a KV-1's front armor.

I just rebought mine and it's a blast already.

I bought my T1 to keep.  It is a lot of fun to drive, resists many guns, smashes through buildings, and thanks to a 100% credit bonus, it made me 76k credits and a top gun XP bonus today.

I've only played the M6 but it can ram quite well and the M6 out DPM's any other Tier 6 heavy. As well the two gunners helps since I don't notice a big difference of one is killed.

In my Kv-1, I've never seen a T1 as a threat but besides that T1's are decent compared to everything else.

M6's can be deadly plain and simple but when I was grinding my T-150 I never had a problem with an M6...but at the time I was so use to driving the soviet tanks I knew how to bounce most things coming at me front the front.

I say go for it, It will be more personal preference then anything

I had the same thoughts towards them playing down the german line but once I got in one it felt turned around and T-150's were a decent target and the 90 punishes them whilst KV-1s' were to be watched carefully due to the potential for a 2 shot.

i loved the m6 once you get the ninety. if you can aim it, and use the armor and hull down right you can do a lot. I took on a lot of 1Ss and one v one and came out on top like that.

Agreed. I got into a nice little spot this game and bounced nearly everything off my turret, and the 90mm offers consistent damage when aimed at weakspots.

Quoted for truth

My M6 was pretty awesome because I had a good amount of the tech already researched through the medium line(Got mine back when the Jumbo researched it). However I have two shot M6's with my Jumbo's derp gun because they overextended themselves and let me penetrate their armor with HE(For 450 dmg a pop)

Sides of M6 are hilariously weak. Front-to-enemies-at-all-times, as well as have allies backing you up, and the M6 then becomes quite capable for leading a push when it's top tier. I've had a few times when me and my team literally steamrolled through the enemy team, any stragglers were finished off with one or two shots from that awesome 90mm cannon.

I didn't like the T1 Heavy. Not only was it massive, but it had worrisome 76mm gun which was more suited to a flanking medium or a tank with more armour (in order to use sustained DPM). Well, it wasn't a bad tank, but to me, it wasn't good. I eventually got through it.

Then came the same bloody 76mm on the M6, with some improvements. It was quite tiresome the first hundred matches in the thing, having the same pen, apha, and RoF as the T1, but a tier higher. Those times I though to myself whether the M6 was worth it or not.

But then, IT showed up. The 90mm M3.

Upon playing the M6 with the 90mm fitted, it was like a Revelation. The depressing M6 suddenly became fun! The grind became so fun that I managed 10,000xp in the blink of an eye, and I hadn't noticed a single bit that I was grinding at all. It was just so extraordinary. Now don't get the wrong idea, the M6 isn't some OP tankcrusher of doom. But with the 90mm, I had finally found a gun which "clicked" with how the M6 worked for me. Among the Tier 6 heavies, the M6 is the "Jack Of All Trades". You can take a wide rage of roles: you can brawl, you can snipe, you can support, you can even flank, due to your mobility. The 90mm has fair accuracy, very good aimtime, good alpha, and high DPM for a Tier 6 heavy.

So, overall, the T1 Heavy is nothing special. It isn't bad, but is slightly outcompeted by other Tier 5's such as the KV-1 and M4 Sherman. The M6, however, is a good step up and, if played well, can quite competently give other Tier 6's a run for their money. Make sure not to show your juicy sides and you will be sweet.  :blinky:

I hope m4 90v sherman thing becomes t6 heavy with 90mm

Give it like 6.75rpm and call it good.

The great penetration of the 90mm means you don't even have to aim for weakspots when in most Tier 6-7 games.

Nice idea. I think either a Tier 6-7 Medium/Heavy hybrid would suit that tank. Would be interested in trying it.
Also, there was a design by Israel of an M4 with AMX 13 turret and 105mm gun! Imagine if that was introduced!

Ok id put 90v rof at like 7.25rpm.  90v would have bettwr armor then m6 on turret, slower then m6, but certainly cooler.

Hmmm...if I have the T1 (which I like by the way) and the Sherman Jumbo and am working towards the T29, should I even bother with the M6?
