[Captain_Judo]

Ultimate Conquest: Absolute Power 2 is the second World of Tanks clan tournament of it's kind. This clan tournament offers a gameplay experience similar to the original Tank Company format, while also providing clans an exclusive opportunity to battle.

Please note the following rules specific to this tournament:

• Teams must include the tag of the clan they represent in brackets after their team name, example "Wargaming R Us [WGA]"
  
• Clans may enter multiple teams
  
• Each team may have no more than six non-clan members on their team

Please be sure to read all rules for the tournament prior to submitting your team; teams that do not follow the rules will not be accepted, and may be excluded from future clan tournaments.

Tier & Point Limits

There are no tank-specific tier limits for this tournament. Teams are limited to a maximum total of 90 tier points.

Schedule

The full schedule will be provided at the close of registration, once the final team count has been determined. Rounds will begin at 6:00PM PST (9:00PM EST) each scheduled day.

• Round 1 : February 11, 2013 @ 6:00PM PST (02:00 UTC on the following day)
  
• Round 2 : February 12, 2013 @ 6:00PM PST (02:00 UTC on the following day)
  
• Round 3 : February 13, 2013 @ 6:00PM PST (02:00 UTC on the following day)

Prizes
The following gold prizes will be provided to each member of the respective team, including reserves.

• First place: 15,000
  
  • All members of clan represented by winning team will receive 1,000
• Second place: 9,000
  
• Third place: 5,000
  
• Fourth place: 3,000
  
• Fifth-Eighth place: 1,000
  
• Ninth-Sixteenth: 500

Maps

There will only be one map used during Ultimate Conquest: Absolute Power 2. The map played on for the tournament will be Mines.

I can see a typo right there one of those dates is incorrect

Why is it set up to completly over lap with the skirmish? Couldn't the times be juggled at all to allow teams to do both? Unless that is the idea, to split the participation?

We deliberated the times- we're moving these to the standard "challenge tournament" schedule. That is, 6:00 PM (PST) / 9:00 PM (PST). Our goal is to maximize clan participation and we don't want this tournament to interfere with Clan Wars. By the same measure, it won't interfere with skirmishes as well.

If you don't mind me asking, what is the reasoning for this? This kind of kills our team since we would have more then 6 members from other clans that always play with us.

Forfeiture of the additional gold for winning should be enough of a penalty.

The reasoning is that this is a clan tournament; it's not a standard eSports tournament like challenges, skirmishes or scrimmages.

If over a third of your team can be a different clan, it isn't really a clan thing. It just doesn't seem to make sense why they would force this, killing a few tournament teams. This isn't clan wars, clans are made for clan wars. Tournaments are made for tournament teams, which most of the time are based from clans anyway.
