I really love the tournaments and skrimishes.  But could you please do them like clan wars or companies instead of training rooms.  I realize you have no repair cost and at low tiers it is not a big deal the ammo cost is insignificant.   Once you get Tier VII and up you can easly spend 100,000 credits per night and thats not even using premium ammo.  Only about the top 4 -8 places pay gold so the current system tends to penalizes the winners who don't make it to the finals.  If these matches were company style at least you would be able to recoup some of your costs.

We are primarily a pub clan.   People tend to loose interest once they realize the cost.  The above is pimarily the reason for my clan not participating.

We deliberated the times- we're moving these to the standard "challenge tournament" schedule. That is, 6:00 PM (PST) / 9:00 PM (PST). Our goal is to maximize clan participation and we don't want this tournament to interfere with Clan Wars. By the same measure, it won't interfere with skirmishes as well.
Does this mean we should expect Clan Wars to be up and running soon?
Sorry to be off topic but I just noticed this.

Sir.

You have no repair bill.

All you pay for is ammo and consumables(?). There is no way you'd spend 100k a night w/o firing premium rounds. On most games I spend < 50K. And assuming I play 3 or 4 games that's up to a max of 150k. Just grab a premium tank and run it in a pub for 3 games!

We dont have enough folks in our clan to make a team. But I would like to join in on a team if you need a person. Have tiers 5 thru 9 mix of heavies Meds and spg's
's  and TD

fyi it's a tier 10 tournament, with maybe some tier 5 scouts as filler.

Should have stated in my original post "not participating in this specific event".

So What?  The 'No Repair Bill' helps only those eliminated in the first round.  You have no repair bill and you are guaranteed to loose Credits!  Using your math of 150k per night as opposed to the 100k number I put up.   Lets say your team gets eliminated just shy of the money round, you stand to loose as much as 600k.   That is Vertical Stabilizer or a level 3 vent.  Dude I bet the guys in Vegas would love your gambling prowess.

Yes I have a premium tank but usually don't carry a premium account.  I find that when I do I get sloppy because you can play like a fool, do nothing and still make money.  I take great pride in the fact that I can play standard tier VIIIs and routinely make a profit and for the most part break even on tier IXs with out the cushion of a premium account.

How would this NOT interfere with CW??
Do you expect CW to be up and running at the same time as this tournament?  If so, this will undoubtedly interfere with the ability to field teams in both...

Each team may have no more than six non-clan members on their team

So, out of 16 players, 10 of them must be of the clan that the team represents.  The other six could be clan or "non-clan".  Does "non-clan" mean that those 6 people must not have any clan affiliation?  Or can they be part of a clan (just not the clan represented by the team)?

In short, can I remain in my clan, while playing on another team?

I have a question, I will be forming up a new clan and would like my new members to participate in the tournment with me, the current players in my tourney team are all either not in the clan or in a clan.. I should get the clan up by thursday.. would I be able to apply even though most of the players in my  team will still be in cooldown to join the new clan I am creating

If you tried placing in the tournament you'd be fine :)

Most of us have no problem burning a few hundred k in FREE online credits for the chance to compete for NOT-FREE prizing and have organized competition.

Losing credits isn't that big of a deal bro, if you can't afford to spend 300k a week in tournament credit cost maybe you should try not playing tournaments.

Of course, I actually do support having them cost nothing in ammo.

no there will still be what ( passing down duties to my more than capable DC's  elgallo and plainfields) , just feel it's a good time now to let them go on their own path just as I did with enjoy, hopefully they keep growing and improving like they have the past couple of months. I like the vibe of creating new clans and watching them grow.. have learnt a couple of things from  founding enjoy and what? I will carry these new 'ideas' into the new clan and see how it turns out

There was a issue with another clan and lord farquad denied it on the spot that the clan wasn't cheating even though they give clans gold to back out of tournaments and clan wars. He claimed it was a "hoax" even though people do have proof of the battles hence they are on youtube and still denied the fact of the clan cheating.
