The T32 grind

I just got the T32, managed to get the tracks so I could put the 105 on it but the tank just seems inadequate for it's tier. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It will come into its own when you get the second turret. Find a hull down spot safe from arty and deal out some damage while they bounce off your turret.

Don't forget about how it's turret invulnerability got nerfed, so T34s can kill it in a hull down position.

Have not played the tank in awhile, so i dont know about the nerfed turret.
It has 299 armor on the turret, but a gold round from a t34 rolling high could get through. This happened when i was driving my T29 it really surprised me until i looked at the stats, straight through the gun mantle.

Put a GLD on it if you haven't to further your advantage of ROF.

T 32 was my favorite Tier 8 (until I got my IS 3). Get Hull down with that turret and do some work. Even higher tiers with gold rounds will have trouble with you if all they see is your turret. Will they still hurt you, yes, but not as consistantly. The gun was OP on the T 29 and it balances out in tier 8 so you better learn where to hit the higher armored guys or you will struggle with 198mm pen; or just sling gold and revel in the cries of your enemies!

Hull down and if they get close...face hug. Your gun depression wreaks havoc on IS3s. You have to suffer thru the stock turret to get there though.

I'm not even sure what the purpose of this tank is, anymore - except to slow you down a bit on your way to the M109.

This is a great tank in the right hands.
Unfortunately, there are very few right hands ...

Having played through the Russian heavy line, I can say that I enjoy the T32 quite a bit more... The gun depression, good turret armor and paper hull really require a different playstyle. As mentioned above, find yourself a hull down place with artillery cover, and blast away. Aim for weak spots with the 105, as its pen can be lacking at this tier.

The T32 is still great, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Its hull can still bounce lower tier tanks if you angle it properly, and its turret is still definitely great. Take advantage of its magnificent gun depression and scout along ridges. This works wonders when there's no arty especially. The other pretty good thing about the T32 is its fairly rapid rate of fire. It's no KV-5, but it's definitely faster than, say, the IS-3. Just spam gold in it and you will do very well for yourself in this tank. It just takes some brains to use it effectively. It is *not* a brawler if it can help it, but don't let that keep you away from the city. It's more maneuverable than some heavies, but isn't the most mobile of the lot.

i find that the 2nd turret can make it so much easier to play and even 9s will have trouble penning if all you show is your turret, 296mm of frontal armour is pretty hard to pen reliably IMHO and as for the M103 it is a completely unique tank in terms of parts so expect a stock tank no matter what but try a mix of hull down and flanking in it see if that brings results oops... almost forgot also face hugging against certain tanks just make sure you move the turret a lot up close so they can't hit the hatch. ( i bounced a IS-8 while face hugging him multiple times by moving my turret so he could not hit the hatch reliably but then reversed away and managed to track me therefore wasting me away in few shots :P )
