As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the revival is possible, and it is indeed underway.
So for now, you can disambiguate our tag as  Rising Undead Soldiers, and we hope that slowly this might gravitate towards Ravaging Undead Swarm.

In any case, we are going to continue to:
stand by our friends,
value our integrity,
and have fun playing tanks.

Former members who are still actively playing tanks are welcome to come back.
New people who understand Russian, or can tolerate it, are welcome to apply.

Thanks again for all the kind words in this thread.
We'll be back!

Russian Hardware will forever be the first clan to put a chink in MLP's armor.  For that I applaud them.  For months under the old CW rules, MLP only needed to hold Dagestan and Crimea to farm hundreds of thousands of gold.  There were few other good clans at the time and the map was plenty big so that the didn't have to collide.

Then RUS decided to land on our LZs.  At first, it was like any group of new tankers coming up against a clan that had been playing together for months.  This was back when fielding a 15 man team of T10s was not likely in a new clan.  MLP beat them handily, night after night, for at least a month.  We in MLP probably thought that they would just give up and wander away.  They did not and they got better.  Much much better.  RUS was the only team that could consistently land on MLP territory and give them a run for the money.  They were dedicated and adaptable.  And they were ALWAYS a class act, even at a time where it would be impossible to say the same about MLP.

So for me, this is very sad news.  It brought back a lot of memories to fight them in the Brooklyn tournament.  I wish all their members and leadership well.

x2

IIRC it was beating RUS that required crayon's IS-7 ramming strategy to counteract their arty on Steppes.  (or something like that, I wasn't there for the actual battle)

I remember when RUS landed on us night after night, not afraid to take a loss, learn from it and improve, and bring better and better fights to us and our allies over time.

And then eventually they beat us.

Much respect RUS.  :Smile_honoring:

Thanks.

Hey, I remember how in April - May of 2011 I was in a puny KV-3 in the same battle with you in a T30 when it was a tank, and thinking " wow this is the #1 win percentage dude" and yeah we won that battle.
