Ah no way, this tournament is going to take place on Sunday? Too bad, I know many of my clan members won't be able to participate.
The Saturday format from Classic season 1 was perfect, but we have to say no to this one, unfortunately.

So considering last tournament, what will the team size limits be this time? A lot of teams had trouble keeping player counts up for each weekend with the small teams that were allowed. Will the team size be increased this time?

here's a link to the main page with sublinks, since Wargaming insists on spreading the details over 3 different places: http://worldoftanks....assic-season-2/

also, why would you overlap the Classic and Absolute Power tournaments, Wargaming? baffling.

I would think a time in the afternoon would make the most sense so it won't overlap with anything.

it's just that previously the Classic and Absolute Power tournaments were months apart. both are 90 point tier 10 tournaments. why run them at the same time? there's not too many of these larger tournaments, why not spread them out?

The Saturday format from Classic season 1 was perfect, but we have to say no to this one, unfortunately.

Another tournament format will hold priority on Fridays and Saturdays. This forces us to leave Sundays for the Classic.

We feel that the team size is adequate enough, based on results from last year's Classic.

It's not our intention to run these simultaneously. Unfortunately, we had to squeeze in the Ultimate Conquest: Absolute Power tournament where we could, based on our future plans. Whenever necessary, we can work with the finalists of the Absolute Power tournament to compromise a schedule if it directly conflicts with their interest in the Classic, Season 2.

I hope that means there will be further large team tier 10 tournaments in the upcoming months then. Otherwise I don't understand why you wouldn't wait a couple months to do the Classic.

MVP: Prize TBD*

  • An MVP (Most Valuable Player) award will be decided by a poll sent to all playoff team captains. Team captains will be polled after each playoff round. The losing team must elect an MVP from the winning team. The player with the most votes at the end of the season is awarded tournament MVP.

this should be sent by PM on forum to team captains or something besides email (posible problems are: "email" may not deliver and "pm" may have inbox full).

  • The following prize pools will be "divided" equally among the members of each respective team

the prize should be per player not per team. because for example of first place:
team with 8 players (min)= 181.875 prize per player
team with 20 players (max)= 72.750 prize per player

the penalization for large teams is too big, and (SINCE I HAVE MEMORY) last classic season, there were teams allowed at the mid of the tournament (with no previous notice) to change players, that was unfair for teams that made up their teams with maximum allowed players to be able to keep playing to the end of tournaments, (with less prize) and teams with min allowed players where rewarded more gold (even if they CHANGED their roster

so please clarify, if prize is per team, and if there will be (CHANGE ON ROSTER ALLOWED AT THE MID OF THE SEASON... like it was last year WOT Classic season

because the diference between 181.875 and 72.750 (example of first place) is large and i dont want to be penalized AGAIN for been responsible and bring a team of max size players.

i really need an asnwer to this question asap because last season was UNFAIR with roster changes and all that. that was aganist teams that were responsiles and made up a team to last. and teams with only afew players on roster were beneficied with unfair roster change. and then, with biger prize...

plase Wargaming, dont do same mistake, please do a FIXED prize per player, no mather team size.

  • Playoff teams are awarded 800 gold for advancing.
is this 800 gold per team or per player or fixed per player or what?
    i hope is per player.
