this replay shows my is3 cant spot tanks and the tanks just appear in the open, every other tank in my garage can spot and doesnt have this problem.
It has happend multiple times only with the is3.

Strange, is it still under warranty?

OP: take a look at IS-3's view range.

You are generally not going to spot much.

get some binoculars or optics

Russian tanks are like Graboids. They don't see what is in front of them, they just sense the vibration of enemy tanks and attack in that general direction.

Until Tier IX, Soviet tanks are blind as a bat. Accept that and work around this limitation by using terrain/obstacles to get closer.
