Mardi Gras Tank skin Contest

They make a judgement call. I don't envy their position in the least. It isn't easy to narrow down 71 entries to just 8 of whom only 5 win.
I've entered many contests with what I thought was "better than the finalists" but that is just the way it goes.
All I can say is post pics of your work in this thread so that we all can see your hard work. All of the ones posted so far have been pretty cool in their own right. It is interesting to see others' take on Mardi Gras and tank skinning in general.
Even the contests I have entered and not been a finalist, I've enjoyed making it and seeing others' works.
The sad part is that our skins often become obsolete as they constantly tweak the models of the tanks.
Hell, tomorrow when patch 8.4 hits many of our skins might become useless... and that is too bad.
P.S. The voting isn't over yet. I am not going to count the gold until the polls are closed.

Maybe I wanted my skin because it's like I see my son and beautiful!
Have had high expectations for ever and maybe some gold is only helplessness.

I think what you did right that probably so many others of us didn't do is that you had a simple and specific idea. I know mine, like several others, were pics and graphics of mardis gras stuff that were overlayed like billboards. Yours looked like it would actually have a place in a mardis gras parade. Well done.
