So played 5 games earlier, and in those 5 games i seen several tanks setting everything they shoot on fire every single shot. 4 games was other players, and last game was me. 1 hit, set on fire, used extinguiser, and next shot fire again, and dead. So i watched this tank. Next shot set another guy on fire, then next on fire again, and so on and so on. Now sure 2 fires in a row i can believe just bad luck, but 7 shots, and 7 fires from 1 player? Been around since BETA and no fracking way is that just RNG, or knowing where to shoot,as this guy was just firing ramdom locations.
So how to get this new hack?

Proof that this guy was firing at random locations?
My guess: Dead Eye + Frontal Transmission/Fuel Tank.

It's not a hack. It's players using HE rounds. They have a higher tendency of setting tanks on fire. Plus with the changes in some of the recent patches, there are some tanks which have the tendency to burn more than others.

This was when i got nailed. Was not HE, as HE will not do that damage to front of a TYPE-59. Not sure if you can follow his other kills, as i was jumping from team mate to team mate after dead to watch. Not sure if you can do that with a replay.

Okay was watching your death: He hit you TWICE in the right side of your glacis plate, which happens to be where the fuel tanks ammo racks are.

(blue/purple checker box)
The E-75 fire was started by the Tiger II, after hitting the lower glacis plate.
I don't see any other fires.

if you don't know where to shoot with that many battles you need to look it up or get in a team training with some friends

So I watched your replay.
This "hacker" does set you on fire twice. Unusual? Yes, but not impossible. Happened to me a few times as well.
His next three shots are finishers on near-dead tanks, so obviously can't tell anything from those.
Then he shoots an SU-122-44, does damage, does not kill: no fire.
The next tank he shoots is a KV-5, does damage, does not kill: no fire.
Conclusion: he's as much a hacker as I am an astronaut.

So his random firing locations ( even though it was the same spot ), set you on fire twice, and you are crying hacks.....just goes to show, just because people were in BETA, it doesn't mean they have ANY idea what they are talking about

Oh you mean the "I learned to shoot weak spots so STFU and stop crying because you suck" hack?
Yeah, you cant download that one.

The tank I get the most fires in is my Type 59. Especially after the first fire a second hit to the engine or fuel will cause another fire.
The chance of fire is greater when the damage is high - since it destroys the module. The shooting player also probably has dead eye- which increases the chance of fire enough.

I set 4 straight tanks on fire between two battles last night in my T71, apparently I activated the "hack" without realizing it, sweet!

Chain fires aren't impossible. I have an old replay of me lighting a Pershing on fire immediately after he extinguished the first one. (Although, there would be little point in posting it since it's not compatible with the current client.)
