Premium Account for one year is supposed to be 10% off yet when signed in and clicking on extend premium all I can choose is 30 days and below. Will this be fixed before the 10% off event is over or is this some kind if bait and switch on behalf if war gaming?

you need 21600 gold, otherwise it's greyed out. It's a 10% discount from the normal 24,000 or so gold.
Premium 1 year  "buy for money" hasn't changed, I don't think.

Please post screenshot. Do you have enough gold? Are you absolutely, 100% completely sure that you're not overlooking something elementary, or are you just hopping on the 'blame WG and accuse them of unethical business practices' that seems to be all the rage nowadays?

Ok so it's grated out unless you already have the gold. I didn't know that thank you. I thought you could still click on it and then get the required gold.

Try the gift shop. That skips the whole having-gold step.

Buy the gold ($99) and then use the gold in-game to buy your premium. That will leave you with something like 3400 gold left over afterwards, which is like $15 worth.
Buying premium is $95 and doesn't give you anything else special.
So for an extra $4 you get like $15 worth of extra gold after you're done ^^
