Alright, so I recently got my hands on the T-50-2, and it's a beast of a scout. Going into it, I was all too aware of the exorbitant repair costs of tier V light tanks. After netting a whopping ~-13000 credits in 5 battles, I figured it was time to give it a break. In this time I started thinking "If the repair costs for a tier V are this bad, I can't imagine the problems of a tier VIII driver". So my question is this:
How do the repair costs of the upper tier light tanks (VI-VIII) and the ELC AMX compare to those of the tier V line-ending tanks (chaffee, T-50-20, VK2801)?

Significantly lower. Idk about tier 8, but I average a net gain in my tier 7 AMX 13-75.

Standard account.

I typically made money in my ELC AMX on up to my 13 90, aside from the occasion matches where you get one hit or whatever. W/ out premium I tended to make 5-8k a game, w/ premium I make around 10-20k in a game w/ the 13 90.

Although, I don't lose money in the T-50-2. Really, can't stress it enough, stay alive as long as possible in your scout, more time alive = More chances to spot/damage/kill enemy tanks = more credits.

If you are going to play this game do yourself a favor and spend $100 for a years premium.
The amount of time and aggravation you will save is more than worth it.
Every half arse played game will turn a profit...

The end of line scouts have the highest repair costs of all the lights. It has significantly higher since they first came out.   :Smile_sceptic:

Thus giving premium players an excuse to give a less-than-desirable performance. I've spend a grand total of ~$20 a year on gold. All I'm willing to pay, and all I need to pay!

I just have one question... "Why, after spending extra time and experience grinding to get the Tier V end-line tanks, do we have to spend so much on repairs?"

What justification do they give for such exorbitant repair costs? I love my little Chaffee and will never sell it, but the costs are at the very least prohibitive. It costs me less to run my higher tier heavies and mediums than this little gem called the Chaffee.

It is, I guess, to balance them and so that people will play lower scouts (not so sure about this one) but it's ridiculusly high.  Right now I'm paying 2,500-3,000 to repair my Vk1601, which its bump to Tier V its going to suck to repair (maybe even to the point in which I sell it [Devs have said they will not buff the lynx, leo, and cougar]).  I've heard terrible things about the repair costs of the current Tier V scout line up, I do feel that is very prohibitive of the tanks and those who dare/ bother to scout.
